I know it's original and all, but couldn't they atleast make it presentable? I mean, that is a rare car but i'd be ashamed to have it in such poor condition...
Probably couldn't afford it.
I totally agree with you, OP. Back then, when the line between racecars and street-legal cars was blurry as hell... [tab]This model is from 1970 though -->[/tab] This thing came out with 425 HP, but I've read that many street racers back then knew their way around the engine, to the point where they would just tweak it a little bit and they were getting 450+ HP, just like that! SS454 FTW
Lets make 454 SS babies all over each others faces
I honestly think 1969 is the best period in car history. Why? Just google a few. just a few. Some of the most widely known and beautifully designed cars came out of this year, everyone was in fear of what the 70s would bring. 1969 was an explosion of beauty, this being especially true for the United States. There's just something romantic and majestic about the sequence of numbers, 1969. 1969 was the last year of the true muscle car, after that it kind of dwindled with politics and the oil crisis.
I love her.
i just wish people had automotive talent these days.
Good year for International too.
Get rid of the wheels and I would be all over that shit
Yeah, definately needs something less... Uh. You know. Stockies, corvette rallies, or some spokes for sure.

First year of ugly-ass bubbly fucking headlights on the Camaro too. Ugh. Love the '94-'97 though. Only car I really like on that list is the Eclipse of course, and the GTO. But only in AWD/TT trim.

Man, I'm rolling in old vehicles. 1969 Road Runner, 1969 Barracuda, 1968 Coronet, 1964 Impala SS, 1967 Barracuda Formula S, and at my grandpas place he has 3 Barrcaudas, a Plymouth Fury wagon, and a 1964 Plymouth Fury Coupe. Gotta love all these old cars, once you go there, you won't drive anything elce. And ladies, know your place when it comes to engines, 454, please: Easily made 500hp, virtually indestructible for street use, and as you can see in the picture it even came with cast semi headers. During my grandpas lifetime he has owned about 5 factory equipt hemi cars. [editline]14th August 2011[/editline] Man, if I had 1 wish it would be to go back to 1968 with a million dollars and live the rest of my life a happy man, or be stuck in some world similar to 1966-1971 where it never changes.

The 454 was boss. [t]http://www.c-dperformance.com/Orange-454-Ricky.JPG[/t] The Hemi is a much prettier engine, granted, but it's hard to find any Hemi for cheap.
