• Some crazy guy sits in a room and puts clay on his face and calls it art

Instead of watching a video and criticizing it you should find out more about the artist and his motives, if his motives are just plain useless you can call them "not art". It's like with Picasso, some people see his work as useless for some other is amazing, I don't like Picasso myself but his skills to make shapes so perfect and use of colours are amazing, otherwise only his skills interest me, nothing else. [editline]6th November 2010[/editline] But yeah some of you might say, where is the skill in sticking clay onto face.

:gonk:
I thought it was pretty cool, at 6:00 he looks like he's imitating a woman. The lipstick, the hair, the facemask. [editline]7th November 2010[/editline] If he made everyone in this thread go what the fuck, try to find a meaning behind it. Isn't it just a bit more than slapping clay on his face?
That's something straight out of goddamn Silent Hill I tell you what [editline]6th November 2010[/editline]
If he made everyone in this thread go what the fuck, try to find a meaning behind it. Oh but can't you see? omg stop bein sheep peopel!!!!
This actually would make sense as a tribalesque representation of DID.
This is better than that dancing naked art shit.
I thought it was cool at first, but then it started getting scary. :ohdear:
w-w-w-what the FUCKKK!
When people mention art, symbolism, or any type of pretentious thing, this is the thing I think of.
WHAT THE FLYING FUCK?! That kinda shit keeps me up at night.
Slightly unrelated, but at the Toronto Exhibition there was this art hall where, in one room, there were a whole bunch of clay sculptures hanging up on the wall of women's breasts. Apparently you can get your chest plastered, molded, and painted funky colors for 20 bucks. I wouldn't really call that art, but more of a boner.
Reminds me of this video, a guy that almost drowns himself for "art". Slightly NSFW.
High octane nightmare fuel.

Lady gaga make up.
nightmare fuel
Looks like this man has SERIOUS issues
I'm sure the entire performance was planned out, and each part held a specific meaning for him personally. I remember someone saying that it could be social commentary on how we always strive to add to ourselves, since we don't feel beautiful enough, but the further we go, the uglier we actually get. [editline]6th November 2010[/editline] Or he's just a fucking nutjob. I guess we'll never know for sure.
The video seems like a fine line between art and a serial killer letting all his emotions flow out into a 9 minute video
The video seems like a fine line between art and a serial killer letting all his emotions flow out into a 9 minute video
At the beginning of the vid he looked innocent. At the 3:00 minute mark he looked insane
He looks pretty depressed at the start to me [editline]7th November 2010[/editline] Oh and I just realised he shares the same first name as me, fuck
Hey guys, all the autistic kids at school are master artists! Seriously anything could pass as art these days. That was really disturbing. I don't really know what to think of that.

Pfft, what an idiot. That mascara doesn't match him at all.
Damn, it's like the idea Andy Warhol made fun of, "I'll do a thing and it's amazing art!!!"
Art is easy to make now. I can just throw my speakers on the ground, take a shit on them, and call it art.
could be a metaphor for what you think of today's music [editline]7th November 2010[/editline]
At the beginning of the vid he looked innocent.
