[sp]It was established a few issues back that Pete and Ock had switched minds. Whether Ock actually switched their minds, or just brainwashed them into thinking they were eachother is unclear, but "Ock" is in Peter's body (with all of Peter's memories, in addition to his own) and vise-versa for "Pete".
So Pete is trapped in Ock's dying body in the Raft, he telepathically takes control of one of Ock's Octobots (which he used to make the switch) and uses it to activate one of Ock's emergency plans.
Next thing he knows, Trapster, Scorpion, and Hydro-Man show up to bust Doc Ock (Pete) out of the Raft.
Pete (Ock) learns of the escape and moves all of Pete's friends and loved ones (May, Jay, JJJ, MJ, etc.) to a saferoom in Avengers Tower. Pete reclaimes this golden Octobot (again, used to make the switch) so that he can reverse the process. Ock activates all these hidden robots across the world to keep the Avengers busy, so it's just Potto vs Spock in Avengers Tower. During the fight, Ock punches Scorpion's jaw clean off and fires impact webbing through several innocent people (including MJ, but it doesn't kill anyone). Pete then decides that he needs to do what must be done (since he's actively dying at this point) and tackles Ock out the window. Ock creates a web stuntbag to cushion his fall. Pete (in Ock's body) hits the ground and snaps his spine; he's fading fast. He decides to use the Octobot to switch them back, killing Otto rather than leave a madman in control of Peter Parker's life.
Just as the Octobot is about to poke him in the neck, swapping their minds, it's revealed that Otto put some kind of maguffin metal under his Spider-Man costume to prevent just such a thing from occurring.
However, the close proximity to the Octobot caused his and Peter's minds to be linked. Otto's evil plans start getting tainted by Peter's feelings and memories.
Peter alters the memories he transmits to Ock's head; Otto sees himself getting bit by the spider, chasing Uncle Ben's killer, holding Gwen's dead body, etc.
This fucks Otto up pretty good, mentally speaking, and he's now something of a good guy.
Peter dies and Otto decides to become a better Spider-Man than Pete ever was; a SUPERIOR Spider-Man.[/sp]
And after 50 years and 700 issues, that's how The Amazing Spider-Man ends.
Issue 2 of Superior Spider-Man sees Spidey rekindling his romance with MJ.
Not since One More Day have Spider-Fans been so angry at Dan Slott.
He made Spider-Man one in the end anyway.
But Stark couldn't deal with Spideys shit as well as Spider-man and things go really fucking weird with Ock. Seriously what he fuck.

Still think if they ever get the rights sorted then Ock vs Iron Man has to happen theatrically. Both delicate humans without technology yet still mega geniuses. Tony has a heart problem and is techincally terminally ill because of it, Ock has brain cancer or something.
Hence why I prefer movie Stark greatly over comic book Stark. In general comic books go full retard quite often, or at least when they do it's really fucking weird (I know it's mentioned often, but Tony's armour being on love with him and raping him on an island? Really?).
Though I've always wondered why Tony didn't just have those splinters removed in the movies. Guess it was because he didn't want anyone to be able to get their hands on the reactor. Apparently he does that in IR3 though, as we see him in surgery.
that armor rape thing and the comic page posted above look like they belong in some sick fuck's fan fiction

[sp]i bet Peter's spirit/mind/whatthefuckever is trapped in some sort of space/time pocket dimenson lock thing like Steve Rogers was, and is p. much just waiting to be freed and resurrected by Dr. Strange or some other wizard weirdo once Otto regains his Ock personality and goes all bad-guy again (because come on that's like bound to happen at some point, just like Pete's resurrection)[/sp]

Oh, I give it a year, tops.
Seriously, pick your favorite:
-Mephisto gets pissed that Pete is (technically) rekindling his romance with MJ, zaps everything back to normal, Otto goes to Hell
-Ock's brainwashing wears off
-Time Travel
-Dimension Hopping
-The Watcher
-Dr. Strange
-Ghost Rider
-God (aka Jack Kirby)
-Some other manner of cosmic/mystical diety
-Ock willingly switches back after being confronted by Carlie/MJ/Aunt May/Jameson/etc.
-Ock "dies" for a moment in battle; Pete's soul rushes into his body for the brief moment that Ock is dead
-Jackal clones a new Peter, along with all his old memories
-Cosmic reset button
Slott probably had the right idea in keeping things vague enough that everything could be undone nice and simple.

As stupid as that storyline with the armor in love with Tony was, I admit that I do like the idea of the suit being implanted with some sort of AI that becomes self-aware and "imprints" itself on Tony.
Kinda like the Symbiote suit, how it would get Peter out of bed at night to go for a swing around the city, like, it's programmed to be an Iron Man suit; so any time that it ISN'T being an Iron Man suit (ie. whenever Tony isn't in the suit fighting evil), it's trying to accomplish the task that it was programmed to do (it kinda looks like they might be taking that route with IM3).

Funniest shit I read in my life.
If a writer ever suggested that bull in a TV show, movie, game or novel he'd be laughed out of the room.

A big problem with any Marvel comic on any universe is it reads like some fucked up fan fiction.
-Mephisto gets pissed that Pete is (technically) rekindling his romance with MJ, zaps everything back to normal, Otto goes to Hell

The only way i can accept that is if, at some point, this happens:

Gotta love the scarring of the suit, very detailed, loving the cinematography
Still too much gold
Still too much gold
I still don't LIKE it, but it's growing on me.
Looks a hell of a lot better when it's properly lit and filmed, rather than on display at SDCC, where it looks all dull and mustard-y.
Honestly, I'm suprised they didn't redesign it to be the MarvelNOW! suit (imagine a regular Iron Man suit, but the red parts are now black and the blue parts are now red).
It looks pretty badass and it'd only drum up more sales for MarvelNow (I've heard the new Iron Man is TERRIBLE; between that and Superior Spider-Man, they'll need all the help they can get).
[sp]On a related note, rejoice; Daniel Way is no longer writing Deadpool. It's actually FUNNY NOW.[/sp]

"Why didn't you... just kill me."
I can't work out where his eye is
looks awesome though!
There's a cut right above it that looks kinda like an eye, but it's really just a cut. Look closely for the eyelashes.
Oh, they finally did an episode of Bad Days with Iron Man
[hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kn8R1IvFqKs&[/hd]
Love the whole series a lot
Which reminds me
whats with the 50 different handlings of his helmet
this one doesn't even seem to attach to the suit, then there's marks where it has to be bolted on, then other marks have a removable one
It might be that this whole suit works like that arm piece in the trailer, and the helmet is just attached to his head and not the suit.

But hes writing Thunderbolts, which is god awful.
I'm quite certain we would be getting another trailer soon by the end of Feb. Since it has the same release date with The Avengers. It''ll also be available in IMAX on April 25th

A pretty fitting reaction I think.
There'll be a 60 second superbowl ad. The game is on the 2nd I think?

Superbowl Saturday
It would appear that Tony would be getting another suit

Reports also say that at the end of the film, he'll go off into space and meet with the members of Guardians of the Galaxy. Perhaps as a liaison from S.H.I.E.L.D
shit man
potential spoiler
I'm hella disappointed that Iron patriot is just Rhodey. I get that they couldn't have Osborn because lol sony films. But why even add it at all?
