I was wondering, what's so special about the suit mark 42? [sp]By the end of the movie all the other suits operate on their own and can jump onto Tony's body. The fact it can turn into separate parts?[/sp]
42 is the answer
I didn't think I'd like the mark 42 when we first saw pictures of it but man, the suit grew on me. The gold overpowering the red actually worked, in my opinion, and I think the fact [sp]that it almost had a personality in the beginning when it was separate from Tony also helped, made it endearing. Sucks it blew up.[/sp]
why did the idiot blow up all his suits up at the end? fresh start? retard.

He can literally build a suit in an extremely small time span i dont think its even a minor setback.
shrektheturd2 shouldn't u spoiler tag that?
Who wouldn't blow up cool shit they had? I know I would. Hell I got a new Lambo last week and took it down to the range today and blew it up.
i have to say [sp] blowing up the suits was really retarded. I know he can build heaps of them in a really short time span, but for gods sake, Earth is still technically at war with the chitauri isn't it? one suit managed to do some serious damage to the chitauri during their first invasion, imagine what an army of those things could do to anything that tries to invade Earth? cmon tony you have more to think about than yourself and your relationship here [/sp]

nope, chitauri were all nuked out in avengers.

[sp] Doesn't the Other still exist and possible have more of them? Hell, Thanos is shown at the end of the avengers. Even if theres no threat from those guys at all, Nick Fury himself stressed the importance of developing weapons capable of fighting off threats from another world, as humanity is so weak compared to them. [/sp]
Actually, that makes sense. [sp]He blows them all up because he is most likely quitting but wouldn't it be better if he made an army of Iron Men? That way he can go to his normal life and also protect Earth. Oh, wait, he won't make a military/weapon device anymore.[/sp]
-spoiler-
Nice spoiler-tagging
Also, no, it was not retarded whatsoever, considering just how much of his life was being overpowered by his armor

It slightly annoyed me that he didn't recycle them but I guess it looks better on film.

The dudes loaded, i doubt he cares about recycling.

There's lots of expensive and rare metals involved.

This guy made 42 of them.
you're arguing about the logic of a movie where a man made of iron fights crime
Obviously it would be silly if the movie ended with Tony Stark recycling them but it would be the logical thing to do.

We're talking about a dude who built a miniaturized infinite energy device in a cave with scraps and who's best idea to fight terrorism and his own weapons was to turn himself into robo-superman.

Recycling is a superpower too.

While it is no doubt expensive, it's not even that rare, it's just a gold-titanium alloy used in the construction of Stark Industries Satellites

Gold and palladium (the previous arc reactor) are among the most expensive metals out there. There's quite an amount of titanium too and I don't think it's that cheap.
Who would win in a fight, the Incredible Hulk, or the Hulk's weight in bees?
bees

Yeah, Hulk, seeing as Banner put a bullet in his mouth, only to have the Hulk spit it out.
