Wait.
How is iron man a wizard?
How is captain america a wizard?
doesn't matter, he is still a wizard because he uses technology that nobody else can use or explain, therefore it is magic and so
Thats stupid logic and the Thor movie did a horrible job of explaining magic.
In the Marvel Universe magic is magic, its not science.
By chance the aliens had fingers so the extremely advanced alien technology was designed to look like a ring. Probably a flawed concept, my mum looses her rings all the time. I don't wear them as I have bony fingers and they slip off.

Oh he has bony fingers too. I wonder if his rings ever slip off an wash down the sink. No wonder he has these rings, the aliens probably lost them. Lesson learnt I guess. That's probably round the time they started working on glowing white magic cubes. Even then they just left them carelessly on the ground.

He has glasses like Elton John too. I wonder if they go to the same parties.
This incarnation (the most recent) is much more badass, he has the rings surgically attached to his spinal cord.
And he came back from the dead.

You won't loose them that way but getting through airport security is a struggle. No holidays for him.

He could probably just kill them and be on his way to hijack a plane or some shit.
Of course Sir Ben Kingsley plays the bad guy :v:
First concept art for Iron Man 3, I've tagged it, because it's also an awesome wallpaper.
Not wizard, he uses alien technology.
He's still a fruity-magician-looking motherfucker. I would prefer if they modernized him. Maybe give him some cool gauntlets with the crystals from the rings embedded in each finger or whatever.

Much better than I remember him from the comics and cartoon. Iron Man has some pretty lame villains. A dude in a Zorro style spandex outfit with a whip? Lame, at least they modernized him and made him somewhat believable, and more formidable for Iron Man.
Look at this:

What the fuck, his name is Boomerang and his power is boomerangs, mate.

No, I was unaware that it's alien tech. I thought he was just an ancient wizard. I didn't read up on him because I think he's a shit villain that belongs in Doctor Strange or something. I have no interest in him.

Jesus christ he got buff.

Like, its like Robert Downey Jr's head got attatched to a mid 1980's Arnold Schwarzenegger body.
He obviously replaced his alcohol addiction with a steroid one.

Pretty damn fruity, it used to be pink.
Then they killed him.
Then this guy came up.

All the Iron Man villians are shit.
Cyclone, mutant who can spin into a torando.
Whiplash, guy in a gimpsuit with a whip.
MODOK, a giant head.
Hes never really had any good ones. I think Spiderman wins when it comes to best villians.

Crimson Dynamo was okay i think, he was a guy in a suit.
Him and Iron Monger, but both of them were used already (Whiplash was half Dynamo in iron man 2)
I bet when Stan Lee came up with villains he just stuck them all in Spider-Man if he liked them and if he didn't he stuck them in Iron Man. Didn't he say he tried to make Iron Mans character totally unlikeable to see if people still liked it?
Hell if the rights were sorted I wouldn't mind seeing it being Doc Ock vs Iron Man as that was always interesting as shit in the comics. If the rumours that Spidey will be in Avengers are true then I wouldn't mind Avengers 2 making use of Ock. Him and Stark have some great banter.

A giant extremely intelligent head!

Spiderman has the best Marvel villains, Batman has the best DC villains.

Ha, yeah.
It's why they've endured so well.
It blows my mind Superman is popular and considered one of the holy trinity of super heroes. He has the worst villains and supporting characters in comparison. Also terribly over powered.

Because of that, they need to shoehorn kryptonite in everywhere.
How much krpytonite flew to earth i mean jesus christ.
[editline]6th July 2012[/editline]
He once flew A CONTINENT of kryptonite off earth.

To be fair, everybody and their mother is a villian in the Spider-Man comics.

Well, we got one half of the new-fantastic four.
Burnt Face Man should be in the next Avengers. He has the BEST villains.

Wow, this thread is so Marvel I genuinely mistook it for the Avengers thread. Poor Iron Man 3. Living in the shadow of an older sibling.

The world does not need this movie
The world does not need this movie
I respectfully disagree.
The world does not need this movie
But I do.
As long as they dont do the whole Bleeding Edge armour shit then im ok with this movie.
I always hated the Bleeding Edge armour, it ruined Iron Mans character, outside the suit he is just a man. Now hes technically a cyborg.
hello Friends
i am like to watch movies, iron man 3 is very nice movie.
