I do.
lol ok. How is the price of weed keeping stoners financially well? That stuff passes through a lot of different dealers before it's used and every time the price is jacked up. What harm does weed do? (the answer: nothing for most) You're right, smoking does make you cool among some circle, but your claim that weed makes people do crazy things for it is ignorant and false. you know nothing about weed QED.
lol ok. How is the price of weed keeping stoners financially well? If you always had ounces on you, you would surely be smoking some of it. And yes, the price is jacked up. That's whats keeping these dealers, or as i said stoners, financially well - buying a large quantities and selling many smaller portions with jacked up prices to gain profit. Drug dealers of high calibres can't get jobs... also assuming they aren't able to because all they do is smoke and sell weed.
What harm does weed do?
You're right, smoking does make you cool among some circle, but your claim that weed makes people do crazy things for it is ignorant and false.
These are real idiots I'm talking about. Ones that are convinced they need a bowl to live.
you know nothing about weed QED.
I know enough to discuss it.

You're obviously oblivious to the fact that growing or selling a lot of weed takes a lot of coordination and planning, which you can't do if you're a heavy user. So these "high caliber" drug dealers probably don't smoke much weed, if any.
Fuck up your brain, make you do stupid shit. A lot of people can handle it, but a lot of people can't.
recent studies suggest most of the effects of weed are psychological, as in there's nothing to "handle" except for your own on psyche. The only real effects are like a dimmed sense of time.
These are real idiots I'm talking about. Ones that are convinced they need a bowl to live.
Right, because they only think they're addicted, which has nothing to do with weed but the culture surrounding it. And even then, the people who think they're addicted have never done anything extreme or anything like what you suggested, for weed.
I know enough to discuss it.
You obviously don't, go back to reading.
Drugs that cause no/negligible harm to others than the person taking it should be legal. If they have the potential to cause serious harm to the user, strictly regulated.
recent studies suggest most of the effects of weed are psychological
Well that's exactly my point. It isn't healthy.
Well that's exactly my point. It isn't healthy.
So are a lot of things, its not that unhealthy either.
Well that's exactly my point. It isn't healthy.
Only to people who already have underlying mental health issues.
My opinion is simple. Legalize (the possession of) ALL the drugs!!! Make distribution of all but weed illegal. Retain liberty while simultaneously keeping it illegal to bring others into it.
My opinion is simple. Legalize (the possession of) ALL the drugs!!! Make distribution of all but weed illegal. Distributing medicine without a license is illegal, so it should be the same for recreational drugs.
There is one major flaw with many of the arguments toward legalization. You guys don't seem to realize that the drug cartel violence is caused by your "need" of drugs, or atleast that you don't get that completely stopping their use would hurt the cartels just as well as what you think legalization would do.
During Prohibition, gangsters dealt in alcohol, not drugs. They killed many people over those beverages, and were a source of many crimes. Guess what? when alcohol was legalized, killings over alcohol stopped! People decided to buy from reputable sellers. Why wouldn't the same happen for drugs? history tends to repeat itself.
Alcohol is a drug.
sorry, by drugs I meant the currently illegal drugs. But that does reinforce my point: if alcohol is a drug but it's legal, why not other drugs?
Well that's exactly my point. It isn't healthy.
America is essentially fat and its a huge problem. Eating cake and junk food isn't healthy (can increase risk for heart disease) but its perfectly legal (and acceptable). It's a choice to eat those foods, you don't have to. The same should be for recreational drugs. Just because something is legal, that doesn't mean you will consume it.
Make alcohol illegal. The logic behind this? Alcohol kills people besides you, you become a public health hazard when you drink.
Make alcohol illegal. The logic behind this? Alcohol kills people besides you, you become a public health hazard when you drink.
Alcohol was already illegal at one point in time, almost 100 years ago. Also what you said is a logical fallocy (hasty generalization), and most people drink without becoming a "public health hazard" aka 'drinking responsibly'
12,744 people died in 2009 from drunk driving accidents, thats 38% of the recorded 33,808 driving fatalities that year. It's a public health hazard thats completely avoidable
Make alcohol illegal. The logic behind this? Crime rose dramatically, and people still drank. heck, they still drove drunk then too.
because it worked so well during the prohibition right?
I don't think everybody had cars in that time period.
Clearly banning it doesnt work. We need to, but people are to idiotic and addicted to give it up. Alcohol is too interwoven in our culture, so until we remove alcohol from our culture, we can never progress. That's the solution, make people not want to drink. For now that's impossible, but I imagine in the future, there are bound to be some changes.
alcohol is fine in moderation.
Well sure, everythings fine in moderation, but the problem is alcohol is too easily abused.
Well sure, everythings fine in moderation, but the problem is alcohol is too easily abused.
too easily? there are many more people who use it in moderation than those who use too much. The best solution is to teach people the dangers of alcohol, and get help for those that are addicted.
Well those few people who don't use it in moderation kill 10s of thousands a year.
Well those few people who don't use it in moderation kill 10s of thousands a year.
well if we ban Alcohol, it won't stop them. the only way to stop them is to reform them.
As I said previously, banning alcohol doesn't work, it must be removed from our culture.
Things like mushrooms and acid/hallucinatory substances should be legalized not a huge supporter of much else
I don't smoke, but I wish they would legalize marijuana just so the stoners wouldnt have anything to talk about.
As I said previously, banning alcohol doesn't work, it must be removed from our culture.
or we could just remove alcoholism from our culture.
