You can buy pre-built houses that don't need planning permission and are very nice besides the fact they have no running water
I have had a similar problem but instead of squeaking it was clicking. I was hearing it on and off in my wall for a couple of weeks. Today i found out what it was.
Came home from my friends house and there was about 60 wasps all swarming around my window so I've had to save all of my valuable shit from there. One of the little cunts stung me as I was trying to get them out. Trying to get hold of some exterminators now.
I still have not found out what it is, but it's annoying as fuck, whenever i am extremely close to falling asleep i hear several of those fuckers team up and do a group beep and it's loud as shit.
