• Ghost Stories - or your own strange experiences

My dads a family doctor and he says he has many many patients who say they saw their relatives after they died. It is very common and a very comforting thing to experience. All of them feel positively about it. Sure, they're probably (99% sure) not real but hey, it sounds great. Don't think of ghosts as Hollywood-esque rattely chain beings. Think of them positively and your brain is unlikely to make up scary visions [editline]01:05AM[/editline]
I have a similar experience often. One day I'll see something of particular interest that I've never heard of/rarely hear of. For about a week onwards I'll see things related to it in some way just about everywhere.
Pretty normal. Think about something unusual like blood, for example, and you'll notice it more. It has always been there, you just never took it in before then.
Well there was one night and I was having the worse dream I'd ever had. I don't remember what it was, but I woke up dripping sweat and adrenaline going crazy, and there was a man in a dark hood standing at my door, and I wasn't about to put up with this shit, so I flew at his ass, only to kick my own ass straight into the cabinets of the room next to me. Your mind probably did play tricks on you.
I had a dream that I was walking around my room getting ready to go to bed, and I picked up my guitar and plucked a string loud, and the sound in the dream woke me up, if that makes sense, but when I woke up, the same string I plucked on my guitar was ringing on my guitar.
All the time at the grocery store I have a ghost open the front door for me. No one seems to mind because they all have ghosts opening the door for them too.
. Glad I can help.
Might bump this. I had a ghastly experience, walking at night, and spotted someone running towards, but couldn't make it out, I wasn't drunk or tired. I was on my way back from maccas. It was coming at me, in a running state, Seemed like a outline of a person, and it flew right past me cold air near me. So I didn't know what to say, and continue walking, hoping to figure what happened.
I have a hard time believing in ghosts because I'm always thinking logically.
Anyone got a link to the solution of the sound of poeple talking downstairs, while nobody is there. Almost everyone seems to experience this.
Does reading The Gallery of Henri Beauchamp count?
yo dog i heard you like ghost stories >.>
So this one time I was in my house making out with my girlfriend, when suddenly the phone rings. When I answer it I hear a voice say "TOUCH MY DAUGHTER AGAIN AND I'LL KILL YOU", then the line goes dead. I asked my girlfriend about the call and she says "My dads been dead for 10 years... BUT WHO WAS PHONE?

I saw a ghost. He was in my closet, and was about to give me a ghoulish handjob, then he got abducted by aliens, now I was ok with this, because I didnt want a ghost handjob, but then, sasquatch and the loch ness monster flew into the ship and made it boom, the it was all :[
OP: Sounds like a vivid dream.
When I was younger and stupider than I am now, I could have sworn that I saw a ghost with the face of the Scream... Mind you, it was at about 5 in the morning... Recently, however, I keep getting the feeling that someone is watching me from the landing. When I turn to look, there's no-one there. I can see from my PC to the end of the landing, and there is never anyone there.
Once, I had a dream where I was standing in the middle of a little clearing in the woods. It was dark, but there were some lights that looked almost like street lights. I heard someone scream, "Where are the others!?" The next evening, my girlfriend and I were walking out of the skating rink we go to. It's surrounded by woods and has streetlights on the telephone poles. And I swore I heard someone shout "Where are the others!?" I got a chill down my spine, and I think my girlfriend heard something too. I asked her, but she didn't know what it was. She said it didn't sound like words to her. I have a few more, I'll post later.
I just had a dream this morning, apparently, was on a bus with my dad. (Not sure if indicating the bus meaning his business van), but it was full of people. And some chinese guy that looked like he was in the mafia type business came on with a gun, my dad got up to sort the situation out, but got shot. :tinfoil: IMMA SCARED.
My mum has took a few pictures of orbs a while back, eh, nothing special though probably something with the light.
A couple of monthes ago, around 8 in the morning, for whatever reason, I woke up quite early, besides my usual 12 PM. I was washing my hands after taking the worlds sweetest piss, and when I turned towards the door and took a step, I saw something for a brief second. I don't know what it was, but I walked into it and there was a splash of water in my eye, like a bubble popping into it. This of course caused me too blink and feel my eye, but my eye was entirely dry. When I looked back up, whatever was there was long gone. I still have no idea what the fuck that was, but since someone DIED in my house a few years ago, it's a bit unnerving :ohdear:
Well not exactly a ghost story but something strange that happened to me: It was 1997 or 98 I can't really remember exactly when, anyways one night I had a dream, I was walking around a place, one thing I do remember is it being quite hot and I still remember quite well what it looked like; normally I do not remember much of my dreams but this one stuck very well. A few years later, must have been 2001 I think, I went on holiday to America, Florida with my mum and sister, after being there a day or so we went to look around the local area and we came to this block of shops, I recognized this from my dream immediately and as far as I'm aware it matched the place I dreamed of exactly; I of course told my mum but she did not believe me. I still can't explain it, for some reason I dreamed of a place over 3,000 miles away I would visit years later; I've not had any other strange experiences.
that happens to me too. It's weird, not that I distinctly remember it, but like once every year I have this mind fuck thing happen, and I suddenly think to myself "wtf, I remember this...and my brother says (blah blah) YEAH I remember this!"
Happened to me for about a week or two in a row. I'd see tiny insignificant things in my dreams, then, they actually happened, and the dream would come rushing back to me It scared me shitless

I once woke up at around 4:00 am to the loud noise of my floor-boards creaking. I sat up in my bed, curious as to what it was. I started to hear footsteps and heavy breathing getting closer and closer to my door. Then, the unthinkable happened, my door slowly slid open and I saw the faint figure of a little old woman with a walking stick. Not thinking I asked this figure what it wanted. I rubbed my eyes for a second to check if what I was seeing was real. As soon as I removed my hands from my face I saw her right there, clear as day. Sweat was dripping from my face, I have to admit I was almost in tears. The old woman started to heavily breathe as she sat on my bed. She leaned in close to my face and said... "I need about tree fiddy" It was about that time that I realised that the little old woman was 8 stories stories tall. I said "Get out mah house. I ain't givin' you no tree fiddy you god damn Loch Ness monster."
Ha haahahaha.
I've never had experiences with anything out-of-the-ordinary. I feel so left out. :gonk:
One time, a few years ago and after my grandfather passed away I was in my room watching television and just chillin out. My door was closed but not all the way, just enough to push itself open. I figured a breeze blew it open, when I looked at it I saw a figure of a man standing there looking towards me. Ever since I just assumed it was my grandfather checking in on me as it was a year or two after he died. Another one happened on prom night, my dad and I went to my other grandfathers house and took a picture of me standing out front of the house. When we saw the photo (which is blurry as fuck because dad can't work a camera) there are a bunch of orbs (easily dismissed as bugs or dust), a figure of another man standing at the window looking through it at us. And I do have the picture, I'll put it under this paragraph. Take notice that the curtains are closed and the figure is translucent. Some say they also see a women in either of the two windows upstairs, I however don't and can only believe it was my grandmother if there is.
