Tell me how. Seriously though, how do you guys do it? Iv searched for it so much and found no answers :saddowns:
I do it by print screening and pasting each frame into photoshop. Then I crop it then I resize it. So pause the video, print screen, paste, play and quickly press pause again, print screen ... etc. and repeat until you have all the frames you want. Then I open it in image ready and turn it into a gif. It is actually quicker than it sounds. It took me about 3 minutes to do the spongebob gif.

Sounds pretty long though, even though it takes 3 minutes you said. Lemme try it out. [editline]04:07AM[/editline]
Unrelated, I like your avatar. (LittleBigPlanet)
Thanks :) [editline]04:15AM[/editline] Mind explaining how Imageready works? (How to make gif in it.) Heres my attempt. Oh god what
You didn't take enough frames by the look of it and that's why it is going so fast. I'll just look in image ready now ... Yeah nowhere near enough frames. You have to pause straight after you play and take each little change to make it look smoother/slower. Seems tedious but it makes, in my opinion, the nicest gifs. I use to try and find software and etc. and it always seemed too much effort and they always had watermarks unless you paid for it and etc. So one day I tried the method I do now and found it worked awesome. Also you never made the frames go backwards again so that it went up and down. Save mine and open it in image ready and you can see I go up and pause for 0.2 seconds on the top frame and then go back down. The first frame also pauses for 0.2 also and the rest have 0 seconds delay.
What I do is Media convert, which takes the youtube link and puts it into a WMV file, then go to Windows movie maker and shoten it to what you want. Save that file and go to gifninja.com, convert it, then take the frames and dissect them and go into photoshop to remove/lengthen/edit the frames, save and boom.

Just click open and select all the frames? Or what? Sorry for all the questions, i just want to know how so i can try it out later in the future or something [editline]06:36AM[/editline]
What I do is Media convert, which takes the youtube link and puts it into a WMV file, then go to Windows movie maker and shoten it to what you want. I have CS2 where image ready is still separate from photoshop. On the tools box there is a button that opens it into image ready. So I do all the layers in photoshop first then open it in image ready once I am ready to make the frames. Each frame you choose what layer you want to display and that is about it minus altering time if you want to. You then just save it once you're done. That all you needed to know? The interface pretty much speaks for itself when you're in image ready.

Im a bit of a dummy in editing programs :v: I have 7.0 for Image ready if that helps. Also Yes, thanks for all the info.
Could anyone make an apng from this? I want those two images to switch quickly, so the eyes seem to be flashing. I tried myself, but failed, or didn't do it right. Many thanks.
Here you go :)
Noodles what did you use to do that? Also, how do I get to/ find ImageReady... I'm tired, so maybe I missed it.. but it eludes me all the same.
Noodles what did you use to do that? Also, how do I get to/ find ImageReady... I'm tired, so maybe I missed it.. but it eludes me all the same.
Go to the search bar in your Start button, (if you use Vista) and search for Adobe Imageready but if no vista, find the search option for your computers programs. Also i use websites like http://animatedpng.net/ or addons like this: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5519/ Though the addon really jacks up the file size to something ridiculous high. [editline]03:39PM[/editline]
That's really good, thanks. But if can, could you make them even faster? [editline]04:32PM[/editline] Aw shit, it's too large. :frown:
Ya, sorry about that size, lemme see if i can get it faster & fix it [editline]03:45PM[/editline] @Synelor Here ya go. All fixed and smaller size! Also thats as fast as i can get it with it being able to catch it (eyes arn't very bright so it can only go so low.). Not the best idea for a avatar :v:
Thank you, THANK YOU, that's even better than I expected! Have a [img]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/rating/heart.png[/img]!
:3:
I just realized my avatar is a spoiler for anyone who reads the webcomic it comes from. Would someone be willing to take it and give it the effect shown on this page? http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004197 Oh btw it was the times 2 border one on the last page. (had to change it to my old one while it's being fixed)
Anyone willing to do this. also this is the avatar I want edited
Also, how do I get to/ find ImageReady... I'm tired, so maybe I missed it.. but it eludes me all the same.
If you use CS3 or above Image ready doesn't exist for you anymore as a seperate program. The features (well most of them) we added into Photoshop. At least that is what I read. If you use something like CS2 as I still do, you can press a button that opens whatever you have in Photoshop into Image ready - the button is at the bottom of the tool bar. [editline]10:05PM[/editline]
<3
How come it doesn't go down properly on your avatar. Was it too large or did you want it like that or? You're welcome though. :3:

If that's my request I think you misunderstood. You did the opposite of what I requested :v: What I asked for was my previous avatar to have the changing colour effect for the blood as seen on the web page I posted.
wow how do you get pics from google images without the long ass url
wow how do you get pics from google images without the long ass url
You could always just save the pic and re-upload it to another site.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjAXyDpdR5A If anyone could avatarize Jim Raynor (the guy in a black suit, the portrait nearly in the corner of the screen, animated preferably with the best quality and speed able)
Can someone make these into some av's?
