As someone who lives in Maryland, I can confirm we're a bunch of rude, uptight liberal assholes [editline]28th February 2013[/editline] except I live in a pretty rural county so there is a fair share of wannabe rednecks around- I say wannabe because they talk in terrible fake accents and seem to think that having a truck and wearing camo makes you a "redneck" god I hate it here

He says it was the worst decision of his life.
ate fried Kool-Aid.
How do you even.
They fried the powder into little red balls.
They fried the powder into little red balls.
I think I threw up in my mouth a little. I like fried foods and all, but a solid ball of koolaid powder dipped in the frier sounds junknasty.
Other than that, Wurstfest was really damn cool and had great food. If you're ever in Texas in November, go there at least once.
We have a lot of deep-fried foods in Scotland.
yeah but it aint southern fried.
Has anyone ever been to Knoxville? It's not too bad on the republican side, most people keep their opinions to themselves. Plus we have a rich history. I love going downtown and seeing what's up.
yeah but it aint southern fried.
True, the fried food here in the South is much more varied and far better then the stuff we had in Scotland. I didn't even know deep-fried chocolate bacon was possible. [editline]28th February 2013[/editline]
Has anyone ever been to Knoxville? Speaking of history, the old missions in San Antonio are really interesting to check out. Mission San Jose and the Alamo (even though it's more of a gift shop now) are the ones I've been to most recently, and they generally have tours set up. Used to go to the ones in California for school all the time when I lived there.

You can't bring up things from the past, moonshine had just rolled around, no one was thinking properly, we were like the socially-awkward 16 year old at a party: young, confused, no-respect, probably gay.
i really hope you're not taking this serious lol.
haha I don't know, there's people out there who wish the south had won, so I figured wishing WV joined the Confederacy wasn't too much of a stretch [editline]28th February 2013[/editline]
Just pulling your chain, laddy. In return for the British smuggling in weapons, the Confederacy shipped in cotton. And from what I've heard, France had a trade agreement with the Confederacy.

I've never been to Montana but I'd like to. I've still got too much to see in Oregon.
Never thought there'd be a southern thread. I'm from a town called Grove Hill in southwest Alabama. Nearest 'major' city would be Mobile, 81 miles away. [SUB]There's nothing to do here.[/SUB]
