Pot is legal in every country in the EU.
I wish you were right, but nope, very much false.
george washington grew marijuana, fields of it. and his wife was the greatest she would harvest baskets of them for old georgey and get blasted and shit (the weed was named Air Force 1)
I don't care about the effects, or the legality of it. I mean, if you really think about it. It's a plant, it grows naturally. Can you imagine Jesus getting arrested for planting/cultivating marijuana? well. Plus, it's mellow as fuck and music sounds so nice.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXXVnT7l5YQ amen
SEE ITS GOOD AMIRITE. My dumb friend thinks its addicting. I should show him this.
Anything that provides relief can become addictive. It may not contain nicotine like cigarettes, but neither does a 40oz. bottle of Lambs, does it?
Anything that provides relief can become addictive. Mental addiction is just you being a faggot who doesn't have any self control or willpower.
We're talking about real addiction. Physical dependency. Mental addiction is just you being a faggot who doesn't have any self control or willpower.
Tell that to all the alcoholics out there.
Fuck you all I'm stoned right now :350:
reporting in
im a stoner and i can admit im addicted to smoking it. erryday i mean, i COULD quit if i actually put some effort into trying, but its basically to the point where i just really wanna get high. i mean, why not? i COULD be sober, but that's not as good as being high. So why not just toke up whenever possible? again, it's not a chemical addiction, this isn't heroin or even nicotine were talkin about here. You can get addicted to weed the same way you can get addicted to eating at mcdonalds everyday, or playing a video game(for example: WOW). It's an addiction, yes, ill admit that, but not a life changing one. Quitting is possible if you try hard enough, and alot easier nowhatimsayin?
Tell that to all the alcoholics out there.
It is possible to develop a physical dependency to alcohol. What I said does not apply to alcoholics. Although, to get to the point at which alcohol becomes a physical dependency, you have to be rather lacking in the self-control and willpower department.
We're talking about real addiction. Physical dependency. Mental addiction is just you being a faggot who doesn't have any self control or willpower.
Yup, mental addiction makes you a faggot. Work on broadening your vocabulary.
Yup, mental addiction makes you a faggot. Work on broadening your vocabulary.
I use the term "faggot" only jokingly. I myself am gay and I find the word funny, especially when used out of context to describe things that have nothing to do with sexuality whatsoever. Poking fun at word taboos is enjoyable to me. If you're silly enough to be offended by a word, I will continue to use it just to spite you until you realize that the word itself has no power until you give it power and make yourself offended by it. Word taboos are like magic spells, and only idiots believe in magic spells.
This is what weed will turn you into DON'T DO IT
you guys are all stupid niggers! but i'm allowed to say that offensive thing because i'm black too, no matter what anyone else gets offended by!

Huh, always thought weed impaired your ability to operate machinery a lot more than the study in OP suggests.
Alcohol isn't chemically addictive, it's the same as marijuana.
Alcohol is addictive. The term used is "alcoholism". It is not like marijuana at all.
"I can say faggot because I'm gay." Does that mean I can say cracker racially because I'm white?
I never said that. I merely noted the fact that I am gay and find the word "faggot" funny. Stop being a faggot.
It makes you sound unintelligent, even jokingly.
Yeah, I can see that. It doesn't really bother me though, I do this all for my own amusement so what others think of me is inconsequential.
Huh, always thought weed impaired your ability to operate machinery a lot more than the study in OP suggests.
It really depends on the person. I can accomplish any task while high, usually much better than I could if I were sober, and never consider myself "inebriated". But I know people who can't handle even the simplest shit while high, and I definitely wouldn't trust them to operate a vehicle while high.
I merely noted the fact that I am gay and find the word "faggot" funny.
Your sense of humor sucks.
I've driven while high. It's not really much of a bigger risk unless you have some hilarious friends in the car with you. We were on the way to subway to get some food and I literally laughed so hard I cried at some things people were saying that I don't even remember now. Point is, it made it a bit harder to concentrate on the road. Otherwise, though, it's pretty normal. Slowed reaction times and whatnot aside, I pay better attention to the road when high. A) Because of paranoia. B) Because driving is way more interesting than it normally is, therefore my mind doesn't feel the need to drift to things like human relationships and responsibilities as much as it normally does. C) Because I'm aware that I'm impaired so I'm driving around 5 miles below the speed limit and putting on my turn signals way ahead of time. EDIT: Stop being faggots about "faggot". You all knew damn well the guy didn't mean it in a homophobic or hateful context, so why give two shits? It's a word, a noise that comes out of a human mouth. Symbols strung together to make meaning. He meant it in a different context than the traditional context. Adjust your response to his context, regardless of whether his humor sucks or not.
Weed isn't bad. Woop woop.
Also. We're all decaying bags of flesh. Let us pick our poisons. I would rather have joint a day than a daily Big Mac or a beer. But it's just a matter of picking poisons. Acknowledge your mortality.
Alcohol is addictive. The term used is "alcoholism". It is not like marijuana at all.
-Holism is a suffix that can be added to a subject to denote an addiction to it. (Oh look, Wikipedia) You can't get chemically addicted to alcohol, in fact the way it works, you shouldn't anyway. You get addicted to it because of the way it makes you feel. Unlike Nicotine, which hooks itself into your mind and makes you think you need it to get by, alcohol is merely a mental addiction. That's why people can quit drinking easier than they quit smoking.
I never said that. I merely noted the fact that I am gay and find the word "faggot" funny. Stop being a faggot.
Still, you should reconsider what you're saying. All it's doing is enabling people to use degenerative words "jokingly" and makes the rest of the world look stupid.
It really depends on the person. And you can't accomplish any task while high, you may do a few things properly, but saying you can do anything while under the effects of a depressant is a very stupid thing to say. That's how people get killed in car accidents.
Don't be a pussy, have all three.
A little bit of meth wouldn't hurt either.
-Holism is a suffix that can be added to a subject to denote an addiction to it. The person expresses a physical need to drink. This is a direct example of physical addiction if I've ever seen one.
Still, you should reconsider what you're saying. All it's doing is enabling people to use degenerative words "jokingly" and makes the rest of the world look stupid.
I encourage the use of degenerative words, in any context. It's much better that people express how they feel via language instead of violence, and a few choice words help to achieve that end. Word taboos are magic spells.
No. Don't advocate things like this. I know how I am effected by marijuana due to countless personal experiences with it, so I believe it's perfectly fine to say that because I've experienced it first hand.
There was this guy in my class back in 6th grade, the biggest jerk in the world. Picked on everyone. A few years later, I'm in another class with him, and he is just the chillest guy ever. Pretty much the only legitimate reason I have to have an opinion on weed.
One thing that I really hate is when people say some bull shit fact without even spending 5 second on Google researching. Check out this article, faggot. "Physical dependence and withdrawal symptoms from sedative-hypnotic drugs such as alcohol will develop in anyone exposed to the drug long enough, regularly enough and in a sufficient dosage if intake is suddenly curtailed." ...sure are a lot of people using sexual preference as a derogatory term here... How about this? Let people choose THEIR OWN lifestyle. Instead of arguing over facts trying to prove eachother wrong admit that some people want to do something and some don't. This goes to everyone here. Not just pro-pot or anti-pot.
What are they going to find once it's legal that they couldn't already find?
Note there has never been a properly funded government study on Marijuana. Every study that has been done, has been done on a very short term basis, and with piss poor conditions and funding. The government has never had an incentive to find anything, because why would they bother wasting time and money on something they've already written off?
