Please elaborate.
Tedious things become entertaining somehow, I get a sort of tunnel vision where I'm concentrated on the task at hand. Hard to explain how exactly things become less boring but they do, and when I'm programming I just click away determine to lick whatever I'm currently on.
And playing video games, forget about it. Sometimes I'm better when high and sometimes i'm not, either way I'm enjoying myself a lot more. It's a giggle fest.
For some reason I really like doing everyday stuff while under the influence, especially normally boring stuff.

Oh yea me too, I did a history project under the influence, and to say the least I loved it. It was entertaining to make it look nice.
Amsterdam has had a decline of pot smoking since it was legalized.
But an increase in harder drugs.
Also, many people choose to smoke weed just because its illegal.
I don't know anyone like that and I bet you don't either.

What most people against cannabis don't realize is that they are the ones paying for stoner's to be arrested, charged and prosecuted.... for smoking a plant.... that has never killed anybody... but that bugler who broke into a house and stole a tv gets 6 months suspended sentence...
Also, many people choose to smoke weed just because its illegal.
Bullshit, you pulled that right from your ass.
Bullshit, you pulled that right from your ass.
Well you probably couldn't do a very scientific analysis of that kind of thing as no one would want to be incriminated.
It seems like a fair assumption, lots of people like to do things for a way to look cool, I know I have friends who smoke for that reason.

So you know that they smoke it to be 'cool' and that they don't actually enjoy smoking it? Besides, smoking cannabis isn't generally associated with being 'cool'.
Besides, smoking cannabis isn't generally associated with being 'cool'.
In the media it isn't, but in the real world it is.
Yeah your right no deaths caused by weed... Except for the people who get shot during drug deals, or get high and do something stupid, or other "accidents" that cause death.
So maybe weed doesn't kill you because it is weed, but it can cause situations where death occur.
There is no definite proof of this, and there is in fact evidence to the contrary. Amsterdam has had a decline of pot smoking since it was legalized. Also, many people choose to smoke weed just because its illegal.
Cannabis is not legal in the Netherlands, it's decriminalized.
-Only adults (18 yeas and above) with a legitimate ID are allowed to purchase cannabis, hash and any other cannabis products with psychoactive compouds inside a coffeeshop. Purchasing outside a coffeeshop is not allowed.
-1 adult is allowed to have 5 gram of cannabis, hash or any other cannabis products with psychoactive compouds. Up to 30 gram is allowed if you have a good reason for it, medicinal users for example.
-1 household is allowed to own up to 5 psychoactive compound producing cannabis plants. The plants are not allowed to be grown by sunlight, growing under lights indoors and outdoors is not allowed. Cloning and clones are also not allowed.
And there is no decline of pot smoking in Amsterdam, people are consuming more and more because we've become more tolerant towards cannabis after all the years it's been decriminalized.
In the media it isn't, but in the real world it is.
Yeah, I'm totally smoking a plant's dried buds just to be cool.

Holding a rubber band can cause situations where death occurs, unless you aren't a moron.
Yeah, I'm totally smoking a plant's dried buds just to be cool.
You do know some people do that?
I know I have friends who smoke for that reason.
That's total bullshit and you know it too.
For those who smoke, Altoids tins work really well to hide your stash. you can also fit your pipe and maybe some joints if you fit it in right
[editline]04:40PM[/editline]
It's like a game of Tetris but with illegal narcotics
If anything, I'd say that people smoking it to be cool are a myth made up by all the highly paid anti drug companies (funnily enough partnership for a drug free america is mainly paid for by drug companies, like alcohol, tobacco, pharms)
freaky ass shit, man. Thats why i hate the law, kids are huffing compressed computer duster because they can't have weed. And because it is legal, in their eyes it is better.
I know a few kids who do it, essentially, to look cool. I'm sure they enjoy the high also, but it's mostly for the image.
I know a few kids who do it, essentially, to look cool. I'm sure they enjoy the high also, but it's mostly for the image.
I'm not sure how people can always tell when someone does something to be cool. I also do not know why it's such a big deal if they are doing it to fit in, I mean if they don't do that to fit in, they'll just do something else. I don't think many people really think that doing it makes you cool.
I'd rather not have anyone knowing I have done pot besides the friends I do it with.
Person 1 "Hey how much do you wanna smoke"
Person 2 "Dude a whole lot man"
1 "Here you go, I'll light you up"
2 "Thanks"
Person 2 then doesn't take any more, yet brags at school about how they did pot the night before.

Yeah, they do it because they want to. Not just because they want to be cool.
I still think you guys are missing the biggest reason why MJ is illegal. The plant is very hearty and can grow in many many conditions, unlike tobacco and unlike the fermentation process used to make alcohol. This makes it very easy for normal people to grow the plant, therefore people can sell it to other people themselves. This means the government does not get any tax money out of these transactions, hence, why the government would rather you smoke fags.
I wouldn't say that's the biggest reason. I've heard a couple of things:
- It makes "white women" sleep with "black men". (I'm guessing posed during segregation)
- Hemp would replace wood as an inexpensive material. <-- I'd say that was a big one for all the fat-cats in washington.
You all should watch Super High Me. It's like the movie about the guy eating fast food for 30 days, except with weed.

The Reefer Madness theory is bullshit too.
Yeah, they do it because they want to. Not just because they want to be cool.
If he's bragging about smoking when he took one small toke an called it quits, then i doubt how much he actually likes the stuff

Saw it, didn't blow my mind in any way but of course i'm already aware the myths aren't true.
I laughed when in that Super High Me movie he scored higher on the SAT's when he was high.
I'm watching Super High Me right now, pretty funny shit.
When I get paid i'm gonna OD on the amount of weed I buy.
When I get paid i'm gonna OD on the amount of weed I buy.
Videotape it for scientific evidence! :science:
But an increase in harder drugs.
So what's that tell you? Quasi-legalization works? Here we have a proportion of legalization & prevalence of drug use. Correlation does not equal causation, of course...but the effects so far are beneficial and suggest such a proportion.
I don't know anyone like that and I bet you don't either.
Sure. I (and like most other teenagers) are more curious about things we aren't supposed to do then things that aren't as 'bad'. Especially with the prevalent 'being bad' culture that a lot of us young people participate in.
Myth: Marijuana Policy in the Netherlands is a Failure. Dutch law, which allows marijuana to be bought, sold, and used openly, has resulted in increasing rates of marijuana use, particularly in youth.
Fact: The Netherlands' drug policy is the most nonpunitive in Europe. For more than twenty years, Dutch citizens over age eighteen have been permitted to buy and use cannabis (marijuana and hashish) in government-regulated coffee shops. This policy has not resulted in dramatically escalating cannabis use. For most age groups, rates of marijuana use in the Netherlands are similar to those in the United States. However, for young adolescents, rates of marijuana use are lower in the Netherlands than in the United States. The Dutch people overwhelmingly approve of current cannabis policy which seeks to normalize rather than dramatize cannabis use. The Dutch government occasionally revises existing policy, but it remains committed to decriminalization.
Although cultures vary across the world, I heavily doubt typical teenage nature of curiosity varies as much.

For the sake of the argument, I used 'legal'. Anything that means relaxing cannabis policies are regarded as 'legalizing' these days..
I was wrong about a decrease in pot use, though.

Why do people think that you want to jump off a building and think you can fly because you smoke weed? Honestly the stupid shit people do while high is nothing compared to how people act while drunk. Seriously smoke weed and see what it's like. Grow the fuck up.
compare weed-related accidents to drunk driving. yeah.
