Study until your eyes fall out. Ask a friend who is good or at least okay with math to explain it to you. Then study until your eyes fall out again. You need these classes to get into college, to get a job. Don't give up!

I have a 3.75 GPA and am really REALLY REALLY lazy. It takes no effort to do well in school, especialy with honors classes. Pick easy ass electives that DON'T require learning or homework as often as possible and it's easy.

Explain your situation and ask for a change of class. If that doesn't go through, ask to be put in a lower-level math class. But only if your teacher is actually not doing well. I know plenty of idiots who just blamed the teacher whenever they didn't bother to learn.

OP a few suggestions: As far as learning goes, you really need to find the way you learn best. Do you look at diagrams and you learn the best from them? Do you learn well from hearing it walked through? Do you learn best when given a set of instructions or a play by play? This will help you a lot during highschool. As far as Geometry goes, it is very much visual and the ability to think out what going on in the picture. For me, (i'm a visual learner) I often drew out every step I was taking to see what it did in regards to the picture. Also, the internet has a million and one options to get help with math. If your having problems with a certain aspect, google it.

I had a horrible time in math 11A (64) and 12A(64 at one point, exam 88, I got a 78 in the class) . Now I'm in precal, and its easy. You know what makes it easier? Going to extra-help, asking questions, paying attention in class, and doing the homework.

Gee, I'm not doing well in my classes. It sure does stink that my ~45 class period is the only time I can learn math.

I find the classroom to be the hardest/worst place to learn and work. I hated school, now I'm just trying to figure out what I wand to do, and save for college.

Whining about the system won't solve anything. The only way you'll get a better grade is if you man the fuck up and roll with how the teacher teaches. If you can't adapt to a teacher's style now, you won't last in college.
