I agree 100% about the "I love you part" and the sadness part. My grandmother died two weeks ago and I didn't cry for her. Pictures of gore, Haiti, 9/11, Columbine, etc. don't phase me in the least and I'm not quite sure how it desensitized me.

Look, something like this isn't easily evaluated. There are far too many variables relevant to even say something like this about yourself.
