Digimon Savers really picks up after they introduce the first real antagonist. Also watch it subbed because the dub is pretty bad, the worst of any season up to that point.
I really wish they would just have used the Japanese version of the music in the dubs, or at least an instrumental version. The Japanese music in Digimon is SO much better. The "iconic nostalgic" english theme song is a piece of shit in comparison.

The only English opening I thought had good music was Frontier (and I hated everything else about that season)

The problem with the japanese version is that it sounds like 80s sentai to me.
Which I think kids would find weird. But it might just be the japanese lyrics making it sound like that.

Weird how I have very mixed feelings about this song. It sounds amazing, yet feels so cheesy.
The same feeling I get from watching Digimon.
I don't even think I got to finish tamers, even being my favorite season.
I think the last 6~ or so episodes happened when my family was road tripping, so I would wake up and get to watch 1/4th of an episode before we left the hotel to keep traveling.
last thing I remember is a[sp] giant swine attacking the town [/sp] and maybe, not sure if I just seen it from a youtube vid, the main character + Guilmon [sp] digivolving together [/sp].

If you watched it on Fox Kids that was the last episode they aired before they pulled the plug on the channel and replaced all the programming with the Fox Box. I don't think the States saw it again until WSBK Boston picked the series up. YTV at least sure as hell didn't keep airing it.

What? I watched tamers on fox kids all the way through as a kid, I remember seeing the final episode on tv.

All I remember was that I went to watch it the next day and it was gone. Half the season was a total mystery to me for something like six years in which time I had already watched Frontier through a VCR and time shifting UPN38.

Never even layed eyes on the next after, but I dont think much of them.
Xros wars is the only worthwhile season after 3
