He makes really great points, and I just love hearing them, but most of them are against serious bible-thumpers, radical religions, and deteriorating societies. I turned to atheism (or comedic agnosticism) because I dislike intolerance. It irritates me when people (especially my friends) bash others just for their beliefs, and I feel that hard religion is one of the biggest culprits in that area, holding the "you're wrong, I'm right" attitude. But then I see this thread, which is devolving into a witch hunt to find whoever rated disagree, and I shed a Native American tear. What a badass.
I wish this guy was my grandpa. Instead I get some angry Italian who likes to yell at dogs.
I searched and didn't find anything, which I thought was odd, as I was certain the atheistic masses of Facepunch would jump on such an awesome video. If this has already been posted then sorry: Awesome.
That's an awesome old man. He "reposted" my words right out of my mind/mouth.

oh that
This guy reminds me of Dr. Breen.
I don't really give two shits one way or the other. I just get aggravated when people, or bigots if you must, bitch and whine over a Christmas tree on some government property and fight it to the death. I can really see fighting force-fed religion in a school. Fighting over a friggin' tree because it's tied to a religion? Really, that's not atheism, that's just being a prick. It's a Christmas tree, not a festival tree.. thing. Still spiraling on my own bout, this goes for any group in general. I hate any minority in a group making the whole group look bad: religion, race, sexual orientation. The backgrounds aren't the question; its society's acceptance and tolerance. Instead of fighting to shove certain groups out, why can't people simply learn to stop twisting their knickers over it and just move on with life? Welcome to stupidity and intolerance, still well-bred in the dregs of society. I'm not talking about class, I'm referring around how many people are raised thinking they're special, the best and etcertera- you can partially thank school systems for that. The day everyone realizes that they're on roughly equal terms with the same potential just might be the day people who already accept this get a fucking break. :v:

Religion is vile.
Were just gods playthings.
I like this guy.
Revolution...
This thread makes me lose faith a little more in humanity. Once again some people manage to confuse ignorant religious people with religious people in general.
You all do realize that if atheism was as prevalent in the culture history and society of every nation, like Catholicism or Islam, atheists would try to control the way people practice their religion just like how the Christians try to control homosexuals lives by forbidding them to marry.
This is why Hollywood casts British actors as evil characters. Like in Star Wars where nearly all Imperial Officers were British with French names. Both of America's most hated enemies! [editline]12:25AM[/editline] This in reference to the 'anti-British' posts in page one.
i spy a Christian in the thread, several disagrees.
I disagree, and I'm an Agnost.

Surely they should be friends.
I don't know that guys just seems like an aggressive douchebag.
This guy brings up stupid points, he also complains about the fight for oil as something to do with religion, well ye he's right because religion is why we need oil because religion is what made us what we are today yet he sais it dumbs down science. That's rubbish, and religion brought on hygiene as the saying goes "Cleanliness is godliness" and hygiene led to better health and like Einstein said, both religion in science need each other for instance religion led us to hygiene and science led us to better health care and such, so atheist accusing religion of dumbing down science or holding it back are just plain stupid because it drives it forwards.

Atheists don't have mansion-like places to meet up with on Sundays. We just don't believe in god.. Organized disbelief? Pah.
Religion is vile.
Religion is bile.
