The Muslim threat is insubstantial at best, at least from my point of view. Totally overblown.
If they migrate here, our culture will eventually domesticate and homogenize the extreme elements of their religion, if indeed said individuals are extremist. But in order for that to happen, we need to cultivate a friendly environment for these people so as to make them feel secure in their new homes and not alienated, much less outright persecuted.

Like I said, there are religions with no deities/spirits/supernatural phenomena. Atheists can follow those and still be atheists.

Buddhism lacks an absolute creator god. Buddha himself was a theist, his teachings are non-theistic.
Also don't confuse Buddha as a god, no one prays to him, hes just a teacher. Buddhism leaves a lot open as far as creation goes, you can believe in Buddhism AND god, atheism, or agnosticism if you want and it doesn't go against his teachings.
