is it me or has 2015 just been a really underwhelming year
like there's been tons of BIG releases but nothing's really stood out apart from kendrick
i dunno man
i don't follow new releases, only jams
Just saw Kraftwerk in concert last night in Nashville. Shit was phenomenal. My favorite band

Been some nice eps and singles, but not really any full albums I would listen to a ton like 2014.
my only issue with having a girlfriend is listening to her music in her car.
i'm so sick of miley cyrus and kesha

there's so much coming out that I can barely dwell on albums much, which is partly why I think I haven't really liked many albums this year - i don't have enough time to listen to them before the next project by another band I love comes out.
lots of middling albums from groups and singers I've loved (CHVRCHES, The Weeknd), but lots more surprise albums that I've seriously enjoyed - i just haven't had time to dwell on them and really dig deep beyond maybe 2-3 listens max. hurts my enjoyment because there's so much stuff coming out.
so far my aoty is
jeff rosenstock - we cool?
official njittie certified album of the year: frozen niagara falls
Tame Impala Currents was underwhelming - at least for me it was.
Oh, I noticed something cool about a couple old songs.
1976: More more more

At 2:15 a riff starts that is familiar.
in 1999 a Canadian... Post-Rap soft rock kind of song came out:

The riff is literally sampled from More More More by Andrea Tru Connection, just slowed down to 75%.

oh shit forgot about that
i could care less about sufjan but the songwriting on that album is A+++ it totally converted me
and yeah 2015 really is the year of hip hop everything else is a bit eh
my aoty's either the new mount eerie or jeff rosenstock maybe

new Chelsea Wolfe album is pretty dope, same with the new Elder album
Really liked the new Bjork album when it first came out but now I think it's just kinda OK
[editline]29th September 2015[/editline]
also patiently waiting for the "last" Lil Ugly Mane album

speaking of sufjan where should i start listening to him? he's gonna be playing at my college somewhat soon and pretty sure i can get in free so probably gonna go.
i hate when i go to look at tour dates for bands and they've already been to australia like 3 months ago and i missed them because bands come to australia once every 5 years.
