been considering getting myself a new pair of headphones for everyday computer usage. do you guys have any recommendations if my budget is, say, 100€ tops?
[t]http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/aplusautomation/vendorimages/a6993eb8-e9c4-4c7d-afe1-f356ccef0329._V350754422_.jpg[/t]
just wanna pop in here and say that Ghost's Meliora is the best album of the year (so far) with Kendrick Lamar's TPAB in a very, very close second
so last night i found out if you hum the first two bars of dragonaut around my friend while he's hammered he'll start singing sleep's entire discography what a guy [editline]11th October 2015[/editline]
just wanna pop in here and say that Ghost's Meliora is the best album of the year (so far) with Kendrick Lamar's TPAB in a very, very close second
imho i can only really enjoy ghost as a pop act rather than a metal act. their hooks are SO solid
Just finished Mr Robot, loved this song, perfect for the finale Music video is really cool too
lel i ended up buying superlux hd668b's thanks for the recommendations anyways. i'll definitely get the MDR-V6's or MDR-7506's some day.

I remember popping up in the music section about a year ago asking for some music suggestions. I only really liked Motley Crue and AC/DC and I just couldn't find any good artists to add to my taste. I remember somebody suggesting me to listen to Rainbow, Ratt and Judas Priest - whoever that was, you're awesome. Since then I've fallen in love with Toto, Eagles, Def Leppard (holy shit Animal is so good), Journey, Metallica, Scorpions, Led Zep, CCR, Black Sabbath, The Cult, Cage the Elephant and Collective Soul. Anyone mind sharing their favorite tracks of similar artists?
God dude Dream Theater would be so much better if Labrie wasn't in it. Hell, I would even prefer Petrucci to sing rather than Labrie on some of their new stuff
Dream Theater would be so much better if they were a pop punk band.
God dude Dream Theater would be so much better if Labrie wasn't in it. Hell, I would even prefer Petrucci to sing rather than Labrie on some of their new stuff
labrie has so little range it's amazing he's been in the band for so long now

yeah i'm not huge into stoner stuff but i think it's generally agreed that stoner metal fans are the most fun ppl to be around ever next to maybe nu-metallers and pop punk d00ds
the band doesn't describe itself as metal. it's just that some of their songs just feel so Judas Priest-y but then the Queen influences hit you and you don't know what the fuck to think.
never knew that. i kind of tuned out of them after their first record. honestly i think they're pretty standard as far as rock acts go but they've really mastered their craft.
what about nu-pop punkers?
even better as long as they don't talk about scene politics for hours
i hate to be mentioning it again since it makes me kinda feel like i'm constantly bragging about it, but as of today it's been a year since the start of my bull of heaven marathon, so today i decided to start a new one this time i'm going through the discog of a bull of heaven inspired project called Body 13 RYM list here it's been very varying in quality, but already it's a lot more interesting with different styles and genres so far there hasn't been a single "one drone for an hour and 20 minutes" (tho 012 is a single harsh noise wall for an hour and 16 minutes) another plus side is that the person currently working on the project is not an asshole :v:
are you some kind of masochist
no just a weird person with too much time
no just a weird person with too much time
live-record a noise rock album in some dude's loft
live-record a noise rock album in some dude's loft
well i'm working on a rock album with lots of noise elements in it but i can't live-record it cause i'm the only person recording all these instruments plus i kinda suck
well i'm working on a rock album with lots of noise elements in it but i can't live-record it cause i'm the only person recording all these instruments plus i kinda suck
you could live-record it with hella effects, a loop pedal and a midi-controller
you could live-record it with hella effects, a loop pedal and a midi-controller
yeah on the technical side that would be possible but that's where me sucking at playing instruments comes in
