More of the first one. (@Ak'z) And tone as in production, I guess I should have clarified a bit more but I am also looking for something acoustic-y aswell. All of these are great though. Also I like London Grammar but something about the way she sings just doesn't mix well with the rest of the song to me.

Can you guys recommend any artists like Scott Walker's modern stuff? Not necessarily sounding similar, but I just love the way he delivers his vocals.

saw PHOX and Dr. Dog at First Ave in Minneapolis great show, even though PHOX's vocals were super drowned out. They played a new song which was neat, and Dr. Dog killed it.
