have they released the version of their new album with all of the hip hop features?
I'm glad the world gets to see Fallout Boy x Migos and Fallout Boy x Juicy J
Fall Out Boy's first two full lengths were the bomb and I still jam to them now in 2015.

Looks like this is it for Rush.

You may like Toe then, another Japanese math rock band.

This album is always appropriate listening
Also random trivia it was the first commercially successful album to use the Roland TR808, whose sound defined the majority of house music and continues to be one of the most commonly used sounds (samples, now) in dance music. Used machines can go for a few thousand on eBay.

Oh yes, I'm well aware of that, my good sir. I saw Toe and Té live in Hong Kong once - a once in a lifetime gig - but, even though Té is a solid japanese instrumental band, they lack the imprevisibility of the "math" genre.
I just stumbled upon these jap dudes, math and some ska influences. Check this out:

thanks for reminding me Té exist, i completely forgot about them

Went to the Judas Priest concert in Vilnius yesterday, it was fucking amazing, Turbo Lover had me ecstatic. Metal truly is a wonderful thing.
I fucking love this song and I have no idea why

I saw these guys opening for FIDLAR at a gig recently:

might just be me but I've noticed how 90's-esque some music has become recently. the girl's a qt 3.14 too, they kick frickin butt live
What do you guys think of RYM potentially getting scrobbling and an updated website? Would be good to see a Last.fm competitor plus it would be unbeatable if it logged your tracks in addition to what it has now.
I really don't like the idea of "rating" music tbh
I don't see myself ever switching from Last.FM unless the switch is super drastic
rym is the best
rym's music database is way better than last.fm's so i wouldn't mind it getting a proper scrobbling service
especially with last.fm's recent update
im working a night shift in the emergency dept on xmas day... WHy iS LIfe likE this! :[
but as punishment i will post 4 spiders when my shift starts!!! :smug:

sun ra was one of the truest jazz minds.. wot a vibe
apparently RYM is starting their own film and video game equivalents, too
as cool as the latter sounds I already have Letterboxd for the former
rym has a lot of gr8 people... the friend function is brilliant, lastfm is close to death for me... they wrecked it
they recovered it a bit so its ok now
they recovered it a bit so its ok now
while I still like last.fm they have a long ways to go
no neighbors, no recommendations by genre, no "friends who listen to", no customizable sidebar
Anyone else into juke/footwork?
I have no clue what RYM even is.

Is solid rating site. Good way to track music. It has better aspects than last.fm, but also lacks a lot of what makes last.fm good too.
I do like how RYM lets people make lists of artists/albums/etc. Still wandering through a 20 page drone list. Solid af so far.

idk tho, ive stopped using last.fm as frequently as I used to. But I haven't increased my RYM traffic either. Both are good tho I'm still cranky that last.fms new layout butchered the tagging system.
I just discovered that for some reason Dropping A Popped Locket has tagged all his albums as vaporwave on bandcamp
there's nothing that's even remotely vaporwave about his music lmao
dapl sucks though

this is a classic though
I have no clue what RYM even is.
it is the database of music...
and what's good is you can find what you're looking for way easier thx to all the effort people make to document their listening and chuck things in lists and categories... it's like you don't even need to do any work to find music you know is worth hearing for yourself. And what's also good is it doesn't cater for a specific listener aka MEga MuZuIK NerDS, but it's for anyone and everyone.
I like RYM because it's probably the most comprehensible database of music out there but I can't really bring myself to make a profile because I don't think I could rate music
Movies however are a different story
