post it so i dont have to look for it.
For the last 10 years, ska has held a special place in my heart. I played trumpet for close to 13 years, was an aspiring jazz musician, and one day found myself in a ska band. Playing shit well below what I knew I was capable of and loving every second of it, all these tiny gigs in people's living rooms or maybe a tiny cafe venue with my buds.
I hadn't really sat down and listened to Reel Big Fish in a while, but they came to San Diego a month ago and it was the best night I'd had in years, such a fantastic band. This lead me to find they'd just recently released a fully acoustic "Skacoustic" album, of some of their greatest hits and covers. If you're a late 90's ska fan, this'll hit home.

fuk wat ya sayin' here's a list of things i think are good and you probably wont dig if you arent into weird experimental shit but still
bonnie prince billie - pond scum
boris with merzbow - gensho (merzbow disc was pretty disappointing, only the last track was sick)
chippendale / gustafsson / pupillo - melt (imagine lightning bolt playing free jazz w/ brian chippendale yelling about metallica concerts and bagpipes)
hijokaidan x jun togawa - togawa kaidan
zeitkratzer with keiji haino - aus den sieben tagen (good rendition of stockhausens piece, really good atmosphere, AOTY 2016 for me right now)
[editline]15th March 2016[/editline]
theres a ton of stuff i still wanna head but i havent been able to get my hands on, like that weird mystery merzbow 12" that dropped last month in a really limited edition that is apparently some of his best material in recent memory and the first new solmania record in YEARS
new king crimson live album dropped out of nowhere, it's a better look at the bizarro three drummer line-up than the previous live album
fun stuff, the new songs are alright, VROOOM is funky as fuck and i love the 3 drummer dynamic on that track
good overall, would recommend checking out if you're a KC fan
also thanks to the line-up this is probably the only live album where the drum solo section isn't a snorefest
why would any band need more than 1 drummer
why would any band need more than 1 drummer
shits and giggles
i'd rather take a new weirdo 3-drummer line-up of king crimson than listen to a bunch of old farts trying to sound like their 70's output like yes, so i'm alright with it
Is there any Spyro/Stewart Copeland fans around?
I've been making Spyro-like music for quite a while, but not for last two years. So I decided to finally make one and upload it on youtube.

idk that whole album owns bones front to back, think its like one of the few albums that are legit 10/10s for me
a shame that local business wasnt v good and lamentable tragedy is harder to digest... airing of grievances is also great

Is there anyway to spoof your location in Spotify so you can listen to other music?
how about not pirating music smh
Is there anyway to spoof your location in Spotify so you can listen to other music?
either use a vpn or access the webplayer using tor set to whatever country you like
What? How the fuck am I pirating music by using my Spotify subscription to listen to music in another region?
bypassing licensing restrictions isn't much different than piracy but imo region locking is super shitty so I don't care
I don't really follow, I'm paying Spotify for the music licenses, why are some artists available and some not? I'm genuinely curious.
I can't even listen to it on Youtube to see if I like it before I buy because they're all under super strict German licensing, I'm not gonna dump 12$ for an album I won't even know if I like. Its just a shitty situation as a consumer.

I'm curious now if Google Play is the same way.
it is. so is pandora.
look up region locking
