Way better than kendrick
Whats the general opinion on Run the Jewels cause all i listened to the last few months is just RtJ and Modest Mouse
very good looking forward to RTJ3
the best thing is that they're named after a RZA line from 7th chamber and thats also about all i know about RTJ
Could I get honest feedback here on a song a friend of mine wrote/performed?
Could I get honest feedback here on a song a friend of mine wrote/performed?
you'll be better off posting it in the musician's gig room thread, since that's a thread for music people have made themselves
you'll be better off posting it in the musician's gig room thread, since that's a thread for music people have made themselves
Ok, thanks, I'll post in there then.
just post it here anyway. we have the finest music critics with the most acute taste in music
fuck this post too funny
oh fuck i am so ready, just one more day until they release more from their first album. still 3 more months until it comes out though [editline]22nd March 2016[/editline] i liked the style of white water better, but this will grow on me fast. i've heard a bunch of their new songs when i saw them live two times and theres some really good ones

Kendrick has a circlejerk around him, but looking past that i don't really see it. Both are incredibly talented and make fantastic music. RTJ is really fucking underrated though, even fucking kendrick dropped a line about it. Been listening to Number Girl - School Girl Distortional Addict lately. It's aggressive Japanese post-hardcore alt rock shit. Good shit. It isn't what i usually listen to but it's an excellent change of pace.
It's an opinion though. It's literally what he asked for.
It's an opinion though. It's literally what he asked for.
Splitting hairs i guess, he asked for the "General Opinion" so that's what i said.
nardwuar interviewed dj khaled a couple weeks after me joking about how great that interview would be if it ever happened never play yourself
go to barbican there's always good music there, but at the end of the day depends what type of music ur into.. if u like black metal you'll have to dig underground and find out ;)
that doesn't look promising at all metal is on the far opposite end of the music spectrum for me, it's in there with mainstream pop too
that doesn't look promising at all metal is on the far opposite end of the music spectrum for me, it's in there with mainstream pop too
southbank centre is v good too, they play all kinds of good stuff. issue is they always sell out. :]
i missed a toro y moi show here in tokyo because i couldn't figure out how to book tickets in japanese
metal is on the far opposite end of the music spectrum for me, it's in there with mainstream pop too
missing out tbh
they play all kinds of good stuff
so you guys go to concerts to find new bands or something? i don't do that
missing out tbh
my head hurts when listening to that, it's just a mess of sounds and screaming
so you guys go to concerts to find new bands or something? i don't do that
no but you're just visiting and you're desp to see a concert
no but you're just visiting and you're desp to see a concert
not really, just kinda hoping there would be more to choose from in london just the fact that i've went to pretty much every concert of bands i listen to for the past 10 years, and i can count that on one hand..
that doesn't look promising at all metal is on the far opposite end of the music spectrum for me, it's in there with mainstream pop too
metal is pop for nerds i'm not even joking, the writing process for a (good a.ka. fun) metal track is identical to that of a pop track which is also why the "Punk Goes..." albums work so well
