it reminds me of the violent femmes but they rock harder
The film looks awful but I've always liked synth tracks and I'm super enjoying this right now

Here's my first release I've ever recorded, mixed and mastered for a band that wasn't my own, it's emo/early pop punk. Really proud of the bass sound on this.

Also I'm going on tour with Gloryhammer again in the UK accompanying Blind Guardian.
How's everyone else been doing?
Trying to stop being lazy and finish mixing an EP.

Weezer squeezed out another album today.
Without making a Blue/Pinkerton comparison, it's pretty good. EXTREMELY Brian Wilson inspired. Some songs like Wind In Our Sails and We Got A Good thing fall too flat for being a bit too bright, but the rest is pretty solid. Overall I'd definitely put it below EWBAITE

Agree with it being below EWBAITE, but its nice to see them string together a couple of solid albums if only to show that EWBAITE wasn't just a flash in the pan.

And I did just that.

I'm glad it did, there's a lot of fun songs here. Kinda sad that most of them were already released ahead of time.
"Summer Elaine and Drunk Dori" is top ten though
I'm trying to ID a song for a friend. It was trap song on dj khaled's snapchat story. Female vocals. It's been 24 hours so it's not there anymore.
Really like the new Weezer album, a lot of the songs are more memorable than some of the tracks off EWBAITE despite being a little less blue album sounding. The track names are about the only thing close to the their garbage run of 2003-2013, Thank God For Girls sucks though.
this goes hard as hell

If any of you guys are fan of Anamanaguchi music, they released their new album Capsule Silence XXIV. The catch? You gotta play a shitty game to able to export it. Apparently it was a "leaked" game they were developing.

Fun Fact: Apparently the guy that made the game is the same guy that gave us the wonderful Sonic Dream Collection.
I feel like EWBAITE and White album aren't comparable. EWBAITE had something to prove, and it accomplished that flawlessly.
White album was a return to form, just trying to make catchy music and express their attitude. They accomplished it.
I could easily have seen the white album being released after pinkerton in an alternate universe and it would be considered almost as good as its predecessors.
ESPECIALLY the bonus track Prom Night, You could fit that into the blue album and not even realize it was made two decades later.

What's the word on Kanye's new material?
And is anyone going to the string of Southern music festivals in the coming months?
Hangout Fest, Bonnaroo, Shaky Knees/Beats, Memphis in May, Jazz Fest? Absolutely killer lineups on all of those.
