You live on the east coast though don't you? [editline]2nd April 2015[/editline] Many do. They just hike the prices up with shipping costs.
If you live on the west coast you're fucked even on the cost of bread let alone cds
If you live on the west coast you're fucked even on the cost of bread let alone cds
That was my point the entire time :)
-snip again-
i buy cds from jb hi-fi but that's because i keep getting gift cards
I only own 9 physical cd's, I mostly use stuff like spotify for convenience. When I buy music it's mostly via bandcamp.
I got Spotify premium about 2 months ago, can't believe I went so long without it. It doesn't have everything, but it has most. It's got a really impressive selection imo

It's only Thursday. Listening to one of my favorite albums tricks me into thinking it's the weekend.

the only reason to own a CD is if the album didn't get pressed on vinyl, imo
i like cds :-)
Why do CD's get so much h8?
the only reason to own a CD is if the album didn't get pressed on vinyl, imo
Can you play a vinyl in a car?
Can you play a vinyl in a car?
No, but you CAN play music from your iPod fine
depends what car you have tho im lucky when i bought my car the guy left his radio player in it so i can actually play through my iPod with an aux lead, my mate has the same car (1998) and has the original radio player and can only play CD's my other mate can only play cassettes so he had to buy this thing that goes into the cassette player and then plugs into his iPod to play music
my other mate can only play cassettes so he had to buy this thing that goes into the cassette player and then plugs into his iPod to play music
Yeah my dad uses one of those and even has one of those hands free things he can put his phone to change playlists and podcasts and stuff.
my other mate can only play cassettes so he had to buy this thing that goes into the cassette player and then plugs into his iPod to play music
those things blow my mind like how do they work
those things blow my mind like how do they work
they have a tape write head in them like what you would use to record tapes on a normal tape deck
pfft peasants in here w/out bluetooth or an aux input [sp]jk i don't have bluetooth aux input or a cassette player :saddowns:[/sp]
Wow, no love for CDs right now. Just picked up A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory, Nas - Greatest Hits, and Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang on CD today, been getting into a lot of east coast hip-hop stuff lately.
I think CDs are in that phase of their existence where we've found better ways to play the digital format via things like streaming or ipods. And they're not old enough to seem like the "collectors item" that vinyls are.
Bubblegum Octopus just released an album and i didn't even think twice and just bought it instantly, that's how much i love that man
dont u work at a record store
idk what point ur trying to make here joe

I literally spent at least 15 minutes looking for music section because I haven't logged in for good 3 months and holy shit what happened.
