Sometimes I see all of these bearded tattooed leather guys and I'm like, what do they look like when they're not at concerts? When they're at the store or they're sitting at their office job or whatever? It's funny to think about.
The most "normal" looking metal concert was Pallbearer, it was about half-n-half beardguys and nerdy white guys like me

kind of weird and sad to think merriweather post pavilion came out like 6 years ago.
TBH i'm growing more cynical about record store day year after year.
The owner of my favorite record store absolutely despises Record Store Day. It has a bit of a soft spot for me, I started my collection on RSD 3 years ago.
There's no record stores in my town so I just went to the Hasting's online shop and bought $200 worth of fun stuff because I felt bad. P excited
My favorite record store got 40% of what they ordered this year, which is a lot better than the 5% a couple years ago.
Didn't get the Swans EP though.
Literally the only thing I would have bought at RSD this year would have been the Red House Painters boxset
and even then I can just order the represses individually as I can afford them
I desperately wanted the Deja Entendu deluxe reissue but given my situation I bought Daisy instead. Fuck the system.
honestly if you work in a record store RSD is basically the worst thing ever
i took the day off this year to play videogames because fuck it
I dislike RSD, especially at my local store because all they get are the usual dadrock staples, not gonna get up at 6am to spend £15 on a bowie picturedisk, last year a woman kicked off because she couldn't get the one direction record
there is only one real holiday
