well actually i was gonna tell you that i came back from china like last week from a 1 month long trip, it was something
Yo dude what was it like, major culture shock? Did people talk english well enough?
Yo dude what was it like, major culture shock? Did people talk english well enough?
Honestly I was kinda stunned by how western and modern they all try to be, shit wasn't nearly as conservative as I had imagined. Obviously the city I was at most of the time is one of the most modern and technologically advanced areas in china (place is called Suzhou, a huge ass city with pretty much everything and then some in it, just about 2 hours away from Shanghai). Oh and communicating with people, well, just gesturing and speaking overly simplified english like maybe one or two words at a time got you pretty far. If you wanted to delve deeper into a meaningful coversation, you'd better come prepared with a translator on your phone. I had quite a few conversations like that with my co-workers at the factory that I was doing my work-experience things for school at. And to be fair the students at the campus our little group was staying at spoke pretty good english for the most part. Broken english nevertheless, but, understandable. [editline]8th May 2015[/editline] kinda feels like my english started to deteriorate there after having to talk like a retard for such a long time

I was given an iPod and somewhat have to use iTunes, why does everyone shit all over it its worked fine for me for years
Might use it solely for putting stuff on my ipod then; what's a good alternative for listening to music while on my computer?

I use MusicBee for syncing my iPod and listening to music on my computer, it's a great program
iTunes has always been working fine enough for me. It's simple to use, easy on the eyes and tagging stuff is really simple.
who gives a dick about what program you use to listen to music anyways as long as you just listen to it
there are definitely better music players out there but I cba to get used to a new one to be quite honest I mostly listen to music on my phone anyway and it has a very rad factory settings music player
words of a man using spotify [editline]12th May 2015[/editline] muh merge
itunes for windows was terrible last time i used it. itunes for osx is ok though.
who gives a dick about what program you use to listen to music anyways as long as you just listen to it
i mean there's nothing wrong with wanting a program with good ui and low system resource usage
i've always just used windows media player on pc and never had any issue with it, it does pretty much everything i need. i can rip CDs and put them on my phone with just that one program. it's probably one of the better default programs that windows has imo on my phone there's a nice looking default music player but there's so much it doesn't support, like wma files, so i use Rocket Player. I had issues with it before but apparently that was because i hadn't updated in months, it works great now lol
I use itunes on windows, it's slow and freezes up all the time, but it has all my music organised and I can buy new music from it.
Foobar2K. Super customizable, doesn't hog all the RAM on your computer, open source, you can do key bindings super easy... It takes a little learning to customize it, but YouTube tutorials are great for this.
tbf I know very little about how computers work so I just go with whatever is nice to look at and doesn't noticeably impair overall performance
;47707788']Might use it solely for putting stuff on my ipod then; what's a good alternative for listening to music while on my computer?
foooooobaaaaaaaaaaaaaar
i tried Foobar before but i couldnt get it to not look like shit so i use Clementine cos its real clean and simple and works great
if you aren't using foobar you're tarded
