I love Last.FM, the new beta layout is pretty worrisome though
Were they part of the loudness wars and shit like that? Hearing Green Day's stuff compressed to what went out to world and what it should have been was informative
idk, their pre-major stuff may not have been. the loudness wars started before they were really much of a thing. when i was saying good at production i was referring to dead MOUSE etc fyi [editline]10th June 2015[/editline] hating on muse like anyone takes them seriously to begin with. its just a pop band, who cares? i dont have anything against them myself at least outside of cheeseball lyrics (but what do you expect)
They're basically the emerson lake and palmer of stadium rock and that's fine for people who like them
I love Last.FM, the new beta layout is pretty worrisome though
It hurts my brain. And the inclusion of albums as a default "listened to this week/month/quarter" just bloats it. information overload. Also guys I was approved by the real estate agent and I now am living in a 3 roomed flat, which I only use one room of. It's great. There's even a bookshelf already here and it looks completely siq. [editline]10th June 2015[/editline] Muse are the same as Floyd and The Beatles. They're not actually shit tbh, just boring, but their fans are unbearable. "HAVE YOU HEARD THIS NEW BAND I FOUND???!?! YEAH CHECK EM OUT THEy'RE CALLED MUSE AND THEY'RE PRETTY UNDERGROUND" So I just insta mute the sounds that come out of their mouth. It's good having a subconscious screening system. (Srs i have a friend whose like that) [editline]10th June 2015[/editline] Actually I had a quick check again of this last.fms beta thing, It's too picture heavy which is actually frustrating for people with shitty internet data.
best dad rock band is the Mothers of Invention
Got my first white label record, proper  shit [t]http://i.imgur.com/vBqZcrr.jpg[/t]
Anyone here listen to The Fall of Troy? I dont really like the vocals all of the time, but I really dig the instrumentals
finally got the new Alabama shakes album, holy shit this record is wonderfully produced.
Frontman David Lamb of the duo Brown Bird lost his life to leukemia last year, just found out they released their final album a few weeks ago. If you're a folk/americana fan, you definitely need to check them out. This is from their 2011 album Salt for Salt
They're basically the emerson lake and palmer of stadium rock and that's fine for people who like them
ELP is basically stadium rock (or was) for what its worth. Found some videos of sessions my mate at uni has being doing recording on, really digging how they did this as a small show and a recording session at the same time
can someone translate this post for me
White label dance edit of this (very minimal and cool) White labels are pressed quickly with minimal packaging to get them into the hands of DJ fast, usually v limited as well, tried to use this unicode symbol but it broke
Almost a week since I went up to Manc for Parklife. Now I'm back to this shit. [editline]11th June 2015[/editline] It's a weird thing though since half of it is good indie & hop hop and the other half is DJ's playing the same shit house.

I have two friends that try to send me Luck Dragon Lady in several different forms in lieu of a Rick Roll. I have become hyper-alert to links containing it and the intro

Is there actually an efficient way to import music with Foobar? Previous player I was using would automatically move the files in my music folder with the appropriate folder and filename. In foobar I have to import a folder, then right click on it, then choose "move to" and then choose where I want to move it to and how I want to organise it (which resets everytime I re-open it). It's not hard to do, it's just a bit irritating.
