vedi imagine having an audience of 50,000 people then suddenly having zero ok it sucks
an audience for what tho also consider the percentage that cares about "you" that's the thing about tumblr you can have 250 followers that all engage with you or 25000 and only 25 of those know a thing about you

Frogman Henry. He's more than just deep, he covers the whole range.

Scott Walker is absolutely amazing. Tilt is one of my favorite albums of all time.
Scott Walker is absolutely amazing. Tilt is one of my favorite albums of all time.
But tilt was not as good as the drift ??
Tbh I have tilt, the drift and bish bosch but if I were being honest his best stuff is still for me montague in blue which he wrote way back when
Also scott walker is 72 now how old is that
Psssh everyone knows the best Scott Walker album is Scott 3

also can we do a tinychat tomorrow pretty please I've been at work all week and would love this
see I agree with you
scott 3 or scott 4 really
we can agree that Soused was kind of a letdown, though
Soused was okay, but it doesn't compare to his better works.
[editline]24th June 2015[/editline]
also it's really sad how he never does live shows anymore
meh, he's 72 and his career's been going on for several decades. dude's gotta rest sometime
Yeah I totally see why he doesn't. Apparently with him it's not just age, he just doesn't like doing live performances. I think he didn't like them even back in the 60s. It's a shame though.
He has severe stage fright - was said in his documentary. Generally an insecure guy. Scott 4 was meant to be his blowup album but just went by unnoticed and he was so affected by it that he left the music industry
the most interesting thing to me was in the documentary he said that looking back, the reason he thinks that Scott 4 failed was because all the songs were in 3/4

rules me out, i got one more sleep after this one until I can hop on.

Well also he was forced by his record label to make middle of the road shit after Scott 4 just to get out of his contract, which drove him to alcoholism
I'd have to say my favourite Scott album is the Drift, it's so ugly

What's the name of the documentary? I'd like to watch it.

Yep, thats the one
For those of you who enjoy sad girl alternative rock folk grunge shit (yeah, I know), you may enjoy this album:

My favorite songs so far are Bros and Lisbon, although I've been listening to Bros as a single for a while so I don't know if it counts. :v:
Anyway this music hits me right where I need it, right now. I hope you enjoy it as well.
im trying to think of bands that went from 100% to 5% like In Flames did, not sure there are many artists who started out THAt good and just went to utter shite.
bad brains, wire, bad religion

plenty that went from 100% to 0% tho...
speaking of documentaries (and sorry if i'm probably doing so a tad late), did anyone check out Montage of Heck? Really well produced documentary, however it's very hard to find truth in a lot of stories that are brought up during the movie. [sp]Especially segments with Courtney Love (notorious bullshitter) talking about how Kurt telepathically knew her intent to cheat on him, as well as Kurt's earlier stories about being named a 'retard fucker' and putting himself in front of a train that switched lanes[/sp]
Me and my mate got really drunk and watched it and we were like "This is cool and all but WE'VE READ DIFFERENT AND WE KNOW THIS ISN'T TRUE"
We got a bit silly. Also, Buzz Ozbourne, pretty good friend of his, says it's mostly bull shit. But it's pretty entertaining

you know that whole thing is filled with lies, many from kurt himself.
