guys help me out here, im listening to a lot of porcuptine tree lately, should i just give up hope>
get ur life together nick
it's one of my great mountains i must climb
I got shivers down my spine because the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure's second OP (Bloody Stream) started playing in my head randomly, I had forgotten how good it is. So I think listening to Porcupine Tree isn't that bad in comparison.
did u miss the cloud nothings part vedickardi?? it's real pleasant and it's only 20m long go listen to it dirtbag [editline]12th July 2015[/editline] pretty sure baldi was the creative force on it because williams' vocals are either not annoying or drowned out on 90% of it
i saw cloud nothings live and it was by far the most boring show ive ever seen [editline]13th July 2015[/editline] i got in for free for the record
cloud nothings in general are boring [editline]13th July 2015[/editline] as far as wavves go i like demon to lean on and afraid of heights but nathans a really stale songwriter through most of their work anyways
I don't get what people love so much about Cloud Nothings. I can understand Wavves, but I still don't really care for their music and Nathan Williams is a massive poo on top of that.
Because it's solid indie rock, like yeah it isn't redefining the genre but it's ok I suppose.
I really like Cloud Nothings. I just vibe off it
"indie rock" as a whole is a pretty bad genre though
There are a lot of really good bands and a lot of really bad bands that can be classified as indie rock, just like most genres
Bones drops some beautiful ass music
Why u listening to ass music bro
bones was the most surprising artist I discovered in 2015, fucking love almost every song he's made and he makes such an absurd amount of them
Bones drops some beautiful ass music
Title confuses me isn't surrenderdorothy just one of his side projects and not a separate artist?
"indie rock" as a whole is a pretty bad genre though
the indie aesthetic is the booring part.
the only reason i listened 2 cloud nothings is bcuz steve albini recorded one of their albums and i was completely unimpressed besides the recording itself
i really liked cloud nothings when they were less whiny and less post-hardcore
The only thing I know about Cloud Nothings is that the shit-talked Steve Albini and that man is literally perfect so they can go kill themselves.
Wasnt it something like they were proper mad that he sat and played scrabble on his phone for the majority of the recording [editline]14th July 2015[/editline] Speaking of Albini, I picked up At Action Park a couple of days ago on vinyl, the embossing of the mics on the inside of the gatefold are pretty nifty, trust him to put pictures of a Coles 4038 and Lomo mics in his records.

Ayy, anyone at Ottawa blues fest? Went for Kanye and currently waiting outside to see rtj.
hi zenny i was thinking of u the other day still listening to alestorm??
yeah i am, their new album was amazing and i'm looking forward to the new gloryhammer album as well
Does anyone listen to sorta popular hard rock bands from the early 21st century? Stuff like Submersed, Trapt, Socialburn, Atomship, and the like?
Why would you ever listen to Trapt?
TBH I feel like early 00's hard rock was a bit shit. [editline]15th July 2015[/editline] Also:
Why would you ever listen to Trapt?
I listen to like 3 songs but threw it out there because I figure its more recognizable. Trapt is generic and their singer annoys me
I reckon this is my current favorite of 2015 until the new gloryhammer comes out https://hatecof.bandcamp.com/album/ca-na-setter-of-unseen-snares
