the reference II is more of a listening turntable than a djing turntable. dj turntables have a lot of features that audiophiles don't give a damn about and audiophile turntables have options that don't make sense for DJs. go with a vestax pdx-3000 mk2 [editline]6th August 2015[/editline] the SL1200 is the industry standard for it's relative quality at a low price point but if money is no object there are better options.

i heard crosleys are good

important thing is that you get a direct drive turntable as opposed to a belt driven one

I spent my entire day exploring record stores in DC and it was a pretty good time. Kinda overwhelming though, I've never been to anywhere as well-stocked as any of them.

Death Magic isn't as good as their first album, but I like it a bit more than Get Color.

as good as their first record is get color is just incredibly catchy and overall a bit more fun imo
