Ok, apparently i've been listening to a fake/leaked copy of SYRO this entire time. I listened to the 'real' SYRO yesterday, and realised that the copy I have has the exact same track titles, with different alt versions of the album cover. Both albums sound like Aphex Twin, however, the 'fake' one consists of bizarrely experimental tracks, with very strange giddy, childish samples. Shazam can't find what any of these songs are, yet it recognises the 'real' Syro. I'm uploading the 'fake' Syro, i'll post it here since it's definitely not the retail release of SYRO and most likely not warez I seriously need someone to tell me what the fuck i've been listening to this whole time. I'm freaking out. http://www.mediafire.com/download/woa9wdka1s6blf0/Aphex_Twin_-_SYRO_(320).zip
It's just some fake some asshole made.

[editline]11th August 2015[/editline] i think there was a female and male singer

They released a song in 2010 called Bloom which was quite popular and if I'm guessing correctly would match the time period your looking for. [editline]11th August 2015[/editline] And would match your country!
nope not them, i think it was more electronic but i dont really remember. i never had it on my ipod i think someone posted it on facepunch way back when, around 2010 because i remember playing black ops while listening to it.
Honestly the only indie band I can name off the top of my head with both a male and female lead who were quite popular around that time is San Cisco.

Anyone listen to the new HEALTH album?
it's not very good in comparison to their other albums imo
i was thinking about it and it's actually amazing that you found the song out of hundreds, possibly thousands, of songs it could have been.
Saw Hum and Failure tonight, with Nothing opening. Nothing were just alright, Hum played a very good set (although Matt's aging is very obvious), and then Failure's drummer stole the entire show. Now I have a Hum shirt with a couple of whales wearing diving helmets on it
I need background music for my upcoming vacation in California and I want to get into the Talking Heads. What album or albums are best for starting out with them?
I need background music for my upcoming vacation in California and I want to get into the Talking Heads. What album or albums are best for starting out with them?
I'd listen to Remain in Light first, it's their most well-known album for good reason. After that, just listen to anything they released between 1977 and 1985 and ignore everything else. Fear of Music and More Songs About Buildings and Food are especially great.
i was thinking about it and it's actually amazing that you found the song out of hundreds, possibly thousands, of songs it could have been.
I googled "indie electronic paper band" or something like that and it was the second result, listened to it and it had male and female vocalists and I was like sounds good enough
I need background music for my upcoming vacation in California and I want to get into the Talking Heads. What album or albums are best for starting out with them?
RANKED: 1. Remain in Light 2. Fear of Music 3. Speaking in Tongues 4. More Songs about Buildings and Food 5. Creatures of Love 6. 77 7. True Stories 8. Naked Obviously this is personal preference, most people would switch 3 and 4. I love more songs about buildings and food but speaking in tongues is just too good an album for me to ignore. Talking heads are my absolute favourite band so well done m8
