They're mostly Australian indie bands. It's organised by triple J i'm pretty sure. It's also an alcohol free event so that's a bummer, gotta be creative in other ways i guess.

It's not to say they're bad just because i've never heard of them. It's just that i know nothing about them.
groovin the moo is ok i went a couple years ago to hear city and colour and public enemy and it was fun

I've done this one a few times

that's pure genius
Brownies and cookies are sniffable though. In my opinion it's probably safer to get some tabs of LSD or maybe some 2-cb or something.

If you're into those things, of course.

not sure what you cook but the ones I eat don't leave any distinguished smell
Speaking from experience, nobody gives half a shit about drug use at festivals.
When I went to ACL they glimpsed inside a single pocket of my backpack and let me go, I could've hidden like 30 joints in there if I wanted to.
why don't you just dress like a security guard and say "yeah stole this from some damn teenagers, bringing them back-" then talk into a walkie talkie like you just got contacted and need to go.

yeah but dogs are quite good at sniffing things.
[editline]31st January 2015[/editline]
i kept dreaming about my dog getting killed last night it was traumatising
just speaking from experience, I've had mates who've sneaked that stuff in to festivals before too easy.
sorry to hear about your dreams tho no one should ever suffer that
Dogs are good at finding shit but not perfect.

They're also influenced by their handler so if you look not like a druggie you'll be fine.
smokers are jokers be like me shoot up
man I just woke up on my friend's couch I don't remember anything from last night
Is this the music thread or the Durgz thread?
[editline]1st February 2015[/editline]
Also, I felt the need to share my favourite song of 2013.

seeing how the music chat thread has been more about chat than music for several years, I feel that blacking out is perfectly relevant.
I remember having 11 drinks, god knows how much I drank after that.
Good weekend? I met the GF's parents, glad its monday tomorrow and I've got work...
I just recently got a phone and I need earbuds badly but I want a pair that don't suck ass and won't break. Something loud and durable. Can you guys give me suggestions?
jvc marshmallows, they're really nice and cheap enough that you won't be heartbroken when you inevitably lose them
JVC are a good brand for cheap earphones, GUMYs were always good (apart from air, they sucked ass) but I was blown away by how good GUMY+ were despite costing <£10. My only gripe was that I was constantly losing the rubber buds.
I tend to just wear my Razer Blacksharks on the train or whenever I'm chilling out but I do miss the portability (and ability to have one-in one-out) Any tips on preventing ear buds coming off?
i saw belle & sebastian last night and damn they were fucking good
on the other hand i got home at 1am and had to get up at 6:45 for work so i am completely fucked
New six-way split with Modern Baseball on it tomorrow:

You can listen to it now though. Great because it is a good song and it means Modern Baseball is still making new songs.
I've become minorly majorly addicted to the vocal music from the Silent Hill series and I'm wondering if there's any bands with a similar sound. Because if Akira Yamaoka and co started a band in the same vein I'd buy their album in a flash.
