Oh fucking wow.
I remember seeing that painting in ninth grade and thinking that if I were ever a musician I'd use that as an album art.
Fuck. Good thing I can't make music, I guess.

Six degrees of inner turbulence>Metropolis pt. 2> octavarium>Train of thought.
I've been borrowing the CDs from a mate who introduced me to dream theater. He has all of them, but so far I've only listened to the "Meta-Album"

No Idea why, but Solitary Shell= one of my favourite DM songs so far.
Metropolis Pt.2 is definitely one of DT's best, right next to Images & Words and Octavarium.

I absolutely adores Stanley Donwood's art, but with The King of Limbs he really amazed me, using inspiration from scandinavian folklore; Strange unknow creatures, with long limbs, traversing the woods an-[sp]SLENDER MAN[/sp]:tinfoil:
When you pre-ordered The King of Limbs, you'd get two transparent LP's, and a newspaper with lots of art and Thom Yorke's wise words, a compact CD and small paper things that I haven't found any uses for so far. I have to say, when I recived this "Newpaper-album" I was absolutely amazed with the graphical art, and I'm proud to own it.
Here's some more art from the limited edition:

It reminds me of the artwork from those 'Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark' books from my childhood.
