What's with the huge vignette? Is that gonna be on the entire game or was that done after recording? they're cool for a short while, then they get really annoying
I take that you haven't been in the GTA megathread for the past 24 hours?
I have not. Why?
If by backwards you mean less exaggerated and less boat like then yes.
I mean mainly more at the fact that, the way that car seemed to handle was very...arcadey. I know GTA has never been a simulation, but at-least the cars seemed to have weight and a somewhat attempt at lifelike physics. So to speak. This just made them seem rather...bland. I'm not sure how to explain it.

You can make an assumption off of videos yea, but why do that when you're pretty much wrong.

I guess I'll find out when I play myself. Secondly. You can see when you watch the damn streams of GTA V how the cars handle in comparison. It's called using your eyes. You can tell that the physics within the vehicles have been toned down. Hardly any chassis roll, at-least for the ones I've seen. The turning is far to strong at high speed, almost like you got some crazy radial slicks on all 4 wheels. And suspension doesn't seem to have any real bounce to it. It looks from what I've been watching for quite awhile. The physics for the driving aspect have been toned down to what GTA IV introduced. I'm not entirely saying this is a bad thing. I'm just surprised. I believed they was going to stick with the GTA IV style.

And since when does cursing have anything to do with someone's ability to debate. We aren't debating anything important, it's vehicle handling in a video game, not a damn discussion about human rights or some shit, even then cursing wouldn't matter. I'm glad they didn't stick with IV's style, it's pretty awful in retrospect.

It was more the sense that you started your post with a abrupt point with the word fuck. To me that seems...iffy. Regardless. I prefered GTA IV's and a few friends agree with me, others do not. I assume it comes down to a personal taste.
As long as the helicopters aren't as bad...
It's been stated that it controls pretty much the same as it does in 4.
They still haven't fixed the texture pop in problem huh? I have to wait until December to play this game because the only game console I have is a PS3, which is technically my father's, which is at home.

Otherwise things look pretty good, I mean the stream is maybe 720p but it's better looking than GTA4.
why does the landing gear stay down? the plane flies ridiculously slow, for a jet plane, in the trailers it looked like it flew much faster?
If you'd have listened closely he was flying at the lowest speed possible almost the entire time, that would explain the landing gear being down too.
Its probably because he hasnt done the certain missions to make it so that doesnt happen. Just how going to cities you arent supposed too yet gets you 6 stars.
There are only 5 stars in GTA V

The reason you sometimes notice that pop, is because it's hard to know exactly when to load the texture into the memory, and when you decide to do that, it still takes some time. All the other times you don't see it happen, it's because it's doing the job very well you don't notice it.
I always wanted aircraft destruction holy fuck, i really want to try this out see if i can get far with just one wing without loosing control also I love how they put back the wasted sign with the classic font, this game is going to be amazing
*snip* wrong thread
The new car handling reminds me of GTA SA. Hopefully they've brought flying cars back as well.
Why hast thou forsaken us rockstar?
As always Rockstars and Take 2 games take down every early gameplay footage :/ I had the time to download one video. its in Mp4 format. https://www.dropbox.com/s/k345xftpwrj76hm/First%20look%20on%20GTA%20V%20-%20tram%20%26%20Fly%20US%20Leaked%20Gameplay%2013%20HD.mp4
That vignette (black edges on the corners) annoys me, I wish games would stop with that stuff.
They're getting the horizon to look like something from Just Cause 2, though I never played GTA IV
The game captures the mood of LA perfectly, I actually recognize a ton of places in all of these leak videos.

The PS3 also suffers the same problem sometimes if it runs on a low RPM hdd
I saw some gameplay where the guy have a very big accident with his car and the car dont seem to be much damaged.. that was what i loved from Gta IV. breaking cars etc. now the cars look like they are made out of a few inches tick of Harden Steel or something....

The cars in GTAIV felt like they were made out of really really thin sheet metal. You'd hit a wall with the side of your car and it would bend it up so bad that the wheel wouldn't even work anymore.

I saw a gameplay video where the guy drive into a wall at least at 90 km/h and the car he is driving just lost the bumper and there was a bit of deformation.. It is only something I was expecting from a game that cost about 265 Million USD I don't say it's super bad or something. I didn't played yet.. but for what i saw it's far from what I first expected. I liked Gta IV colision and deformation.. The vid i was talking about got shut down but here one SPOILER I am sure the game will be pretty fun though. I would agree making strong cars allow people to play longer and have more intense police chase. it was kind of annoying sometime in Gta IV where you crash your car in the middle of a chase and have to run. Its gameplay and fun after all. [editline]15th September 2013[/editline] Water look so Awesome [t]http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/3135/ubdz.png[/t] a bit blur because i took it from a playing video. [editline]15th September 2013[/editline] Just in case you wondered what Shark Attack looks like I downloaded quite a lot of video. [editline]15th September 2013[/editline] I found a couple of vid. is there anything you guys would like to see? got a few mission gameplay, plane flying, strip club.. weapon, mountain riding .. Golf, Tenis, Triathlon, Hooker, car customization. etc. Hookers!
GTA IV's deformation is exactly the same as GTA 5's...
Does anyone know, can you make it so minimap is always flat and not turned at an angle? I really hate the way angled map looks.
