I was comparing older NOFX to newer NOFX, 80s hardcore had meh songwriting at best but at least some of it exhibited some talent. Especially Minor Threat considering that they eventually spawned Fugazi.

I just think that their newer stuff is generally better than their older stuff, even if it isn't all good. The only album I really love by them is The Decline and since that was the album in question I naturally rushed to defend it. I may fanboy The Decline a little too much but I really do love it.
well agree to disagree. If I want comedy or humorous punk I listen to Laughin' Nose or The Vandals. Those guys still know what they're doing.
