Fat Kid Rules the World, a story of a fat kid finding punk rock, and his place in the world. The movie looks super cool and it really looks worth supporting.
if theyre gonna be on warped tour its probably stupid lol
[editline]14th May 2012[/editline]
yeah they call it punk but they mean blink 182 fuck me
Warped tours still cool... if you live on the west coast and get to see good bands like the addicts, the vandals, and 7 seconds play the first day of the tour.
[url]http://vanswarpedtour.com/bands[/url]
none of those bands are on here and I live in the midwest. a total waste. not a single good band
i dunno man chunk! no, captain chunk! is pretty sick
Seriously though are there actually any decent hardcore/punk tours (or fests, preferably on the East Coast) that happen on a yearly basis? I would guess probably not considering how small the bands and their budgets tend to be but vOv Just curious.

on a yearly basis, not really. just keep an eye on the calendar of your local "punk" venue. that's all I do.
Yeah, that's what I've started doing. There's this mexican restaurant in town that hosts local hardcore shows in this tiny room upstairs all the time and it's fucking awesome. You get some food downstairs while they're setting up and then you drop your burrito and sprint upstairs when you hear the music starting. Fucking great.
And thanks rundevil, I'll check that out. (Y)
The only band I'm interested in at Warped is Streetlight Manifesto. They should get rid of all the other bands and just have a 3 day Streelight festival
[editline]14th May 2012[/editline]
and Ceremony never plays near RP :(

I saw street light 2(?) years ago, and they were really off their game; super disappointing show. It may have just been that day or something.
I saw em last year and they were top-notch i'd say. It was a ska show though. Waaaaaay too much energy going on for me to really pay attention to how they're playing :v:

[url=http://thefestfl.com/fest11/bands]there's Fest in florida[/url]
let's not forget [url=http://www.riotfest.org/] Riot Fest[/url].
What about Cracktoberfest? Just forget about LOC and focus on Citizen Fish.
[editline]15th May 2012[/editline]
LOC is an alright band, just a HUGE fucking gimmick.
what's the gimmick? that their songs aren't very interesting?
Haha. They are really repetitive and blah blah blah BUT their sound is alright.

I saw Streetlight in July 2010 it was such an awesome show, I'm pretty much only going to Warped Tour to see them again. I just wish when they were with RBF last summer they would've come through my town.

It was quite a show. Maybe they'll do it again when RBF drop their new album.

Green Day will forever be my favorite band. Dookie and Insomniac are just too damn good. They may be only pop-punk, but I still love the sound. (Late responses yeah!)

I wish I had a local punk venue. Or any venue for that matter.
I hate living in butt-fuck nowhere.
[editline]13th June 2012[/editline]
To justify the bump, have a documentary.

good doc.
look for house venues in your area. there's usually at least one.
Hey guys, lately i've been listening to nothing but ska and metal, I need some new punk stuff; so you should recommend some bands.

Greatest punk band of all time IMO.
My dad opened for these guys in Utah along with several other popular american punk bands like Dead Kennedys.
