Very many Utah scene punk/hard rock bands during the 80's though 2000's.

Only ones I can remember is Potato heads (His first band when he was a teen), Road Frisbee (not really punk, more progressive than punk), and Nurse Sherri (Hard Rock/Metal with punk influence).

I am not sure if you would find their music anywhere, maybe nurse sherri. I should upload some Road Frisbee stuff because it's really really fucking good.

Most notable people I have heard of him playing with was Nirvana in the late 80's or something before they were really noticed. They came to Utah for like a 2 days or something. Not sure of the details but other band members confirmed it.

I admit his voice is bit annoying and nasal like fat mike (whiny). I can deal with that. However, NOFX has never been that technical (except for death of john smith) and a "metalcore" guitarist wouldn't change that.

Depends on the drug. Sorry but I've never gotten any intense music feelings while stoned (well maybe back when I started) but on MXE, DXM, mushrooms, acid and all those Rcs I did punk was great. From Against Me! to Reagan Youth, lol.

But yeah man The Subhumans are great. You could also check out INDK, Morning Glory and Choking Victim (ugh LOC too)

This thread has my interest since I've been listening to post-hardcore for so long, and am now shifting away from that toward bands on the edge of those circles like Have Heart, letlive. and La Dispute and am interested in hardcore punk.

Any suggestions?
