Not exactly punk or hardcore at all
They're classified as a post-hardcore band. So technically hardcore, just very different.
I'm gonna head into the hip-hop thread and post Rage Against the Machine then
I'm gonna head into the hip-hop thread and post Rage Against the Machine then
No need to be a prick about it man, its still hardcore music just not the usual kind of hardcore.
My dad has been in sort of prominent punk bands in the Utah scene. I have an old bootleg CD of his garage recordings, the bassist and guitarist is really good. Some of their songs were really good. They opened up for a lot of famous punk bands like Dead Kennedys. Also here is Toxic Avenger by the Dickies. such a good song.
Finally A thread about hardcore punk/punk music. I'm looking for more, that sound like this/The name of this album, I can't find it anywhere :(
rateyourmusic only lists one album, "Sinkhole". doesn't say if that track is on it though. it does appear on the SLC punk compilation.

We had a rapture party over the weekend and ended up listening to a shitload of Agent Orange. And then someone put minor threat on, which felt just plain wrong because everyone was drinking.

Hi sickjits, maybe we'll be able to get along this time also, went out to a show last night and Deez Nuts were playing, kind of like a australian version of a hardcore band. They're not too special, they write songs about fucking and drinking but they have a couple of decent ones. Anyway I loved the difference in the pit for the one hardcore band playing, it went from 14 year old scene fags who look exactly the same, to bald 30 year olds with XXX tattooed on their heads/legs, throwing down. It was awesome, I threw down for a couple songs :v:, they played well
