Originally introduced to the United States in 1998, the Forester shared its platform with the Impreza up to the third generation and now features a hybrid platform of the Japanese Impreza wagon and the rear platform of the U.S.-spec Impreza sedan. The Forester was designed and built with four-wheel drive (AWD) as standard equipment. According to Japanese government regulations concerning exterior dimensions and engine displacement, the Forester is classified as a "compact".
Its a crossover, but still resembles to me as a station wagon...to me at least, idk about other people Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subaru_Forester
any car that runs for only $100 is a huge steal nice job
Not only was it $100, it runs great and its fully loaded. Only repairs needed are a new rear bumper and some touch up paint.

Get a miata. Everyone will think you're gay, but it's slow enough to not get you into trouble with the cops but fun enough in the bends. Parts are cheap and a good example can be had for under three thousand USD.
This is the most fuel efficient car you'll find. It's a fully electric sports car that goes from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds. Only problem is that it's a bit over your price range ($105,000USD)
Lawl do they even sell small, fuel efficient cars in the USA?
Im starting to love ignorant foreigners.
Im starting to love ignorant foreigners.
the poster makes a good point, america doesn't get most of the fun small european hatchbacks imported over.
