Keeping to the way you structured the sentence to correct version would be along the lines of "It hasn't been dropped since Will had it", since otherwise you're saying [B]you[/B] dropped it while it belonged to Will and you speak of Will like he's an event rather than a person.

It's a complete sentence, but your sentence says something different than what you want it to say. Your sentence implies something along the lines that you haven't dropped it since Will happened, which doesn't make sense. You're pretty much summing two ideas up into one. You would instead say, "It hasn't been dropped since will", or "I haven't dropped it, but Will did".
I should also point out that, yes, the way you say it makes it sound like you've dropped it before. You haven't dropped it before since [insert event that happened].
