I want to see this, although I'm pretty sure I've seen most of it from the clips on youtube. I stumbled upon one of the parts one day, and became obsessed.
I've been borrowing this for a while and haven't yet watched it, I should.
It is a really great movie. At first you're going to look at it and think, 'what the fuck was that?' Even after the 5th time, I still can't comprehend the message. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places.. Either way. Great film. The soundtrack is amazing too.
Goodbye Blue Sky animation is fucking crazy.
Oh my god yes That and "What Shall We Do Now" (the extended version of Empty Spaces) are my favorite scenes in the whole damn movie! I own it, I've seen it several times, and I love this movie to death.

Good film, their music is much better though - any idea who did the album artwork? I assume it isn't one person... it's great stuff.
The Wall = Good Darkside Of The Moon = Most overrated album in the history of mankind
Heck, I'd buy if they remastered it for Blue-Ray Super HD or whatever just for the spaztastic animations.
Why is it listed as "Pink Floyd The Wall" in the credits, though?
To people who keep saying Pot makes you as dumb as a board, shut the fuck up. It doesn't, usually a lot of the people who turn to pot in the first place, are dumb as boards. Stop blaming the drug as a fucking scapegoat, and realize from birth, most people suck balls.
Are you serious? Like, it's not obvious enough what the movie was trying to say? You gotta be fucking kidding me right?
I haven't actually watched it, I was just annoyed with OP's tone. Seriously, I know some pothead friends and whenever they get together and watch a show while high they spout all that sort of nonsense. "Oh, Hannah Montana has so much meaning behind it." "Yeah, like Spongebob! He really speaks to me, you know. I think he's meant to show how we can't struggle against like, life?" I'd say they're joking, but occasionally I walk in on them having discussions about it.

I loved the movie. Brilliant from an artistic point.
Darkside Of The Moon = Most overrated album in the history of mankind
I'm sorry, what? Have you lost your mind? Darkside of the moon = Best album ever made in the history of mankind!

However, another fact is that anything potheads say when high should be forgotten and never repeated again.
People on drugs don't make any worthwhile shit.
There goes the last century's worth of music
There goes the last century's worth of music
No they performed while high, thought when high, but they never wrote music while high. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was about a LSD trip, but they were not on LSD while writing that.
But if they never took LSD in the first place then they would have never written the song.
That has nothing to do with my arguement though, which is people aren't very good at thinking while high.
The drug doesn't make you permanently stupider, however it can make you act stupid while high, and god damned annoying to anyone who isn't high.
It can also boost your capability to think deeply. I write when I'm high all the time and people have told me it's a lot better than the when the stories I've written when I'm not. It all depends on the state of mind you want to be in. :eng101:

I've met, and am friends with, a huge amount of stoners, and none of them have said anything worth while to me when they were high. Doesn't matter how smart they are.

And they weren't high themselves :v: . You also have to be in the right environment. When you're at a party you can't expect to be able to answer a bunch of philosophical questions, you get caught up in the mood of the party. Same thing goes with being baked.

I loved the movie, brings back some great memories.
I have an old video (that's old) of them playing live. Back then when bands like, The Specials and Pink Floyd ruled the roost. Good ole memories..
I think thisispain is very close-minded.
I like watching this movie with girls because every one has a different and weirder reaction.
I thought it was mostly boring, but the few animated scenes were fucking great.
Where do you get weed
