how do i play videeo games
I remember watching a scene from Another Brick in The Wall sequence when I was a little kid. I was so fucking scared of those masks on the children and then seeing them jumping into that big meat cleaver. ---------- But anyway, The Wall is quite an good flick but the band itself is just simply amazing. ---------- Holy jesus it merges your posts now WOOHo
[img] http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b253/RangerBoat/My%20house/SD530422.jpg [/img]
fuck yeah 18 wheeler ----------
No they performed while high, thought when high, but they never wrote music while high. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was about a LSD trip, but they were not on LSD while writing that.
it's highly likely they were still doing something while writing it, though, at least pot ----------
Read: It's a reasonably well animated extended music video with no real meaning *TOKE* Holy shit man, this film is laden with meaning! I mean seriously, it's so deep it's like I'm looking at everything. I can even see the music! Hey, did you ever notice how cows are, like, kinda sorta us? I mean they have eyes and warm blood and everything. Where's the tortilla chips? I mean I'm, like, kinda - duuuuuuuuude. Did you just see that? I was like tot - hold on, heh heh heh heh
okay except that the film is about both Syd Barret and Roger Waters' lives combined into one (Pink Floyd). there's actually a lot of meaning in it.
fuck yeah 18 wheeler
Yeah I have alot of stuff from my childhood laying around...I used to have a huge ass banner of the two 18 wheelers seen there...dunno what happened to it
But if they never took LSD in the first place then they would have never written the song.
Yeah, let's try to keep heavy drugs in the world so musicians can make a few songs :)
I'm sorry, what? Have you lost your mind? Darkside of the moon = Best album ever made in the history of mankind!
Nah, the build ups are waaaay too long and you have to listen to a song for like ten minutes before any real music starts coming on. Damn I hate huge intros to songs and that album is full of them
In all serious this is an amazing movie. ekks-dee
epic movie, epic band
Yeah, let's try to keep heavy drugs in the world so musicians can make a few songs :)
Yeah because LSD is a heavy ass fucking drug. Fucking junkies and their LSD. Fuck. Laying in the gutter cos they couldn't get their fix or some shit. What is wrong with people LSD can be bad in excess... You can go research why yourself. Note: CAN, it's not like everyone who does it in excess will end up in the mental ward at a hospital. It's all about your mind... fuck i can't be fucked explaining to you lot... it will just fly over your heads. Most of you anyway... some of you guys are cool. Anyway Pink Floyd are awesome.
I love Pink Floyd this is awesome.
The Wall is a great album. Pink Floyd had some strong messages there
I saw this movie a while back, and I was not really a fan of it. It was too trippy and weird to the point where it made no sense. Would've rather just listened to their music, because their songs are awesome. Love comfortably numb.
The 'comfortably numb' scene just made me cry.
That was a large bump. I loved this movie, though.
The 'comfortably numb' scene just made me cry.
Nice bump, almost a year old, so I'll rate it 3.5/5
Goodbye Blue Sky animation is fucking crazy.
It's awesome, especially if you watch it in a movie theater or on a +40" TV with a kick ass stereo.
Pink Floyd is awesome...The Wall is just genius.
I kind of hate that people associate this movie with drugs. It was not made to be used with some kind of drugs noir it makes you trip without drugs. To fully enjoy this movie and make interpretations right away you need to watch it without any drug influence.
I love 'The Wall'. Probably one of the best rock operas. If it can even be called that.
Great movie, great band, great everything!
This is a great movie. I have it on my iPod. One of few movies that my dad and I both love. A mod should move this to the film and TV forum though, if at all possible, now that we have a dedicated movie forum (I realize this is from May 2009).
