I found my old highly modified 5mW green laser I bought about 10 years ago.

At that time, it was amazing. I paid $140 for it.

Had the lense replaced and a better diode.

I wish I had the money to drop on one of these new handheld 1watt lasers. I'd use it to light cigarettes.

point it to a Windows of a building and that laser was at least 100mW or above. Even with a divergent beam and a final spotsize of several meters, it's still sufficient to cause damage to the eyes.
