It's interesting, that's why, and that cat was put down on a shelter and had it's body sold for this purpose, i don't see the problem with it, nobody "butchered the poor cat" only for painting it's insides. It's better than have the cat agonizing on some road after having half of it's body cut off by a car, full of diseases on top of that, blame the previous owners for it's death.
I did it with a fetal pig in grade 11 bio.

17. I've thought of myself as pretty tough when it comes to this type of stuff, but even this got to me. Today, our science teacher came around and showed us a small fetus that had been discovered in another cat. This is pretty sad, even to me, and I caution EXTREME NSFW! If the mods would like me to take this down, I will. I only post it because at the same time I find it very interesting to actually view something at such a developmental stage. That black dot is it's eye and around that the head, with mouth. You can then make out the rest of the body.
