WHO THE FUCK KILLS CATS FOR POPULATION CONTROL?! What the fuck is wrong with people in this world.

are you stupid?
Oh god I'm allergic to cats!
I thought it would be much worse. The only thing that grossed me out was the first layer of muscles, they looked all white and shit.
That's completely fine, most kids in my class do the dissections without gloves
Wat
When I did my dissection, I got poop all over my gloves after cutting through where the small intestine leads into the rectum. Then I got blood all over when I severed the aorta to get the heart out of the chest. And the trachea and pulmonary arteries were full of some bubbly, mucousy liquid that squirted all over too. There was poop and blood and organs everywhere. And you guys did all this shit without gloves?
This will make a nice sacrifice for me...
I fapped to this
I didn't get to do this when I was in high school, but I happened to walk past the biology room when they were doing it, and some kid I don't know practically pulled me in to show me it.
Apparently he thought it was very important I saw it.
OP has no fucking soul... poor kitty :smith:
i remember dissecting a preserved pig fetus freshman year in high school, the smell was absolutely horrible. but it was quite interesting, learned a lot about anatomy.

you best be joking
Ain't even going to open the images. Ive dissected a pig's heart but that was nothing, me and my friend played a game of mini Hockey on the tray with the heart on it using the tools. V:v:V
Only thing ive dissected was a squid, which i was okay with because it wasn't a mammal
I remember doing this, I broke the cat's mouth
Wow, and I almost vomited when I dissected a cow eye.
Hm, I wonder how FP would react if a medical student posted his dissection pictures of a human. Doubt it would cause so much fuss as now...
And interesting pictures, I've only dissected a fat white rat. Not that interesting compared to larger animals, it must have smelt horrible.
Way of life people, You think we haven't done this to ourselves? If we didn't do this your appendicitis would have killed you, your parents, and your parents' parents. This is how science moves on. The animal is dead, It is treated with respect, It is not abused, Its corpse would have been thrown in a dumpster otherwise.

Depends how cute they are. However, fuzziness and fwoffy ears would work to the human's detriment.
I think that fiborous stuff is called a "why so" Serous membrane or a mesentery

There's actually videos of autopsies on youtube...

Well, it might not. But keep in mind that the cadavers in medical labs are people that most likely died of natural causes, and they consented to their bodies being donated to science. These cats were killed due to overpopulation, and that adds to the sympathy factor.
People's reactions to things are different. Most of the kids in my class didn't have much of a problem with the fetal pigs, but a lot of people were disturbed when we went to the cadaver lab. It's hard to predict how you're going to handle something like that until you actually experience it.

Yeah that's true. But I usually don't have any problem seeing or dissecting an animal. However it sure is horrible when the cause is overpopulation or killing it just for the sake of dissection. I understand that there is a lot of sympathy toward cats and dogs because they are our pets. But for me, dissecting a human is much worse (not that I've done it), even though they have donated their bodies. It just doesn't feel "right".

Yeah and they are horrible to watch, but I guess very educational.
Ew
That is pretty interesting. All I have dissected whole is a fetal pig, and that was only to open it up to show its urinary system, and the chest cavity.
That was pretty interesting. And educational. If only I was able to do such things here...
I mean during classes of course.
I'm most likely supposed to feel bad and all but I just think it's interesting.
I remember when we had to dissect a pig for Biology a long time ago. One of my friends accidentally got some of the insides inside his mouth. He was sick for a few days afterwards. :v:
Looks like chicken.
