Put a top on the cage.
I still don't see what the problem is if they're in a cage. If it's open top then build a top for it.

Put a top on the cage.
There is a top on the cage. The fence thing on it in the front is wide enough for a paw to go in.
There is a top on the cage. The fence thing on it in the front is wide enough for a paw to go in.
I don't think it'll do much or even make the effort if that's all it can get in.
Obviously the cat isn't going to be able to get in if the baby guinea pigs can't get out. Even if it were to stick a paw in, which is unlikely, the guinea pigs aren't going to stick around on that side of the cage and rub themselves all over the cat's claws.
Ask the Guinea pigs.
The cats jump on top of the cage and tries to kill them.
put the cage inside a cage, or get one of them fancy tube cages,
My cat's in the vet, big gash on her belly. Bloody thing is going to cost me 500 bucks
That's pretty unrelated.
That's pretty unrelated.
No its not....He said cat so therefor is relaeted
Why?
Because guinea pigs are cool man.
Male's are fighter's. Girl's are defenders. Male = Mmmm Guinea pigs. Girl = Umm no i am not eating that.
I thought it was the other way around, it is with lions, tigers and such.
Should have gotten them used to each other sooner son
I have 2 Guinea pigs, a Cat and a Dog. Dont worry they will get used to each other soon enough just make sure that attacking the pigs is a bad thing by throwing them out the room or spraying the cat with water.

I have a cat and 5 guinea pigs. If I were you I would let the cat wander about the house, but the Guinea pigs in another room. But it is possible for Cats to get along with Guinea pigs. :D [editline]12:35PM[/editline] Oh gosh, I just realized you had 2. Ah well. Like I told you,let the 2 cats wander.
I've been leaving my door open when i go to sleep. And my mum have been checking out on the cats. So far no Guinea pigs have been eating.
I was wondering if there is a way to have cats aloud in my room without trying to eat my guinea pigs. I like having my Guinea pigs inside. And when my room is really hot. I have my door open. Which is fine. But i have to keep an eye out for cats. Also if this is a wrong section for this thread please move it. How the hell is there bad spelling? No mistakes.
You put a period instead of a comma after "really hot".
Eat the Guinea Pigs before your cat has a chance to, that'll teachem.
i had a cat once and it behaved well with budgies in their cages after i teached it to leave the cage alone
This thread is a major disappointment. I thought it was going to be about some sort of theoretical cat/guinea-pig hybrid.
You bought a GUINEA PIG. As well as a CAT. You're silly :downs: Get a dog
