I am going to buy it, because I realized that the pc's multiplayer is just like ps3's cod4 multiplayer, which I loved anyways. And I don't give 2 shits about the mods.

I don't really care about matchmaking, it just makes it easier to find a server to play in.
And for the people who say that they can't play with their friends, I am sure they will make a system where you can find your friend's games.
I'd care if they hadn't decided to push over the concepts of the original's multiplayer and then smiled while urinating on it's face. Singleplayer looks good, but I'm not gonna pay $50-60 for what supposed to be focused on multiplayer gameplay.
