How do I do it on OS 10?
How do I do it on OS 10?
lol u cant
it just deletes the website from my search bar :downs:
Wow, this is pretty cool
I sort of already knew about this from working a lot with the command line. In fact, ctrl + many keys works with words instead of characters. EG: Ctrl + Arrow Key moves between words Ctrl + Shift + Arrow Keys highlights whole words instead of just characters
One of the most useful keyboard shortcuts I learned is Shift-Tab to go backwards. Learned it from watching a secretary in highschool typing while I was calling home sick. Don't know why it never occurred to me. Ctrl-Shift-Esc opens Task Manager directly.
Fail attempt at getting RU/Gold/other. :frog: :effort: (It's called a joke, guys. :v:)
Nothing new to me. I'm sure many people didn't know about this though.
Wow I just tested that now that is pretty neat. A+
Rated can opener, because this is the best keyboard shortcut ever next to alt+tab
Am I the only one who knew this already?
People should spend more time getting to know their keyboards. Keyboards are your friend.
People should spend more time getting to know their keyboards. Keyboards are your friend.
My keyboard holds my unused food for another date, when i am too lazy to go shopping.
Behold the great power! You're writing a comment/message/anything else and suddenly you realize you need to delete the last word for some reason. So the first thing that comes to your mind is holding backspace while trying not to delete any other important text... Alternatively you can press backspace many times and delete each letter of the word separately. NO MORE!!!!!! You can save your precious energy by simply pressing CTRL+backspace! Isn't it fucking awesome?! Man, I should get a Nobel for that or something! edit: Great discovery number 2: Holy freaking shit, when you CTRL+backspace the url in the navigation bar of your browser you can remove special parts from it. On this thread's url: you can remove the thread id, and then the parameters and etc...
I learned this in Jr. High.
alt+f4 makes your computer run faster. even better if you delete System32 :smug: (User was banned for this post ("thread shitting" - Gurant))
Ctrl + Mouswheel for zooming in Firefox is useful for me too.
Ctrl + Mouswheel for zooming in Firefox is useful for me too.
Chrome, Safari, Opera, and even IE do it too.
I prefer my shift + click though.
Did you guys know that if you hit F1 it'll show you a help page that has most if not all commands like this :O
