Had my first ride on a bike today, cg125 and it was fucking awesome. definately gonna get one when I have the money
Those look nice, anymore four strokes?
There would also be the Honda CB 50, reliable and pretty cheap.

Okay, I'm having trouble on deciding my first bike, it needs to be under 33bhp but I just want one thats cheap, fastish and cheap to run.
Honda Bros 400.

Does anyone think a Honda Ruckus is a decent scooter to muck around on? I'm 15 so I don't have a driver's license/learners permit yet, but when I'm able to start taking lessons at 15 and nine months, and if I get the scooter registered, I can legally drive down the street (in Massachusetts). I think this would be good to start out on then work my way up. I've heard that it's pretty customizable as well and people have put new engines in it and whatnot. Another reason why I like this one is because of the looks. Over time I started to prefer it over the regular scooter design. There's a dealer near me that sells them, so if my parents allow me one I can get one new, or look some place else for a used one at a cheaper price. where would you be going with it? its top speed is only about 40 mph
where would you be going with it? its top speed is only about 40 mph
Around town, and like I said, just to mess around on. [editline].[/editline] On the MassDOT website it also says that it can't go past 25 MPH on roads, so it's not the best type of transportation, but I don't really care about driving it on the road, that's just extra I guess. There are some quiet private roads on my street where a few people ride their 50cc bikes, so I can ride around there for fun as well as a bunch of other places around town.
where would you be going with it? its top speed is only about 40 mph
Can't most 50cc engines be "unlocked" by simply removing a screw or two, gaining some decent speeds?
Uh oh...

It's all streets. My dad used to dirt bike, he got his first one around 19 years old or so, but back then the area wasn't very populated, lots and lots of trails and dirt. Now they're almost all gone, and I don't even know where they are.

[editline]27th June 2011[/editline] You see them all the time here, immaculate with polished spokes and tyres that have never seen dirt.
Then that could be a possibility...where should I look for one?
Holy shit, a road legal cr500. I love how the frontend comes up even without reaching the powerband, just by twisting the throttle :aaa:
that guy isn't gonna be around long
Any ideas how to be recognized better on the road? Heard a LOT of stories of people getting into serious wrecks from not being seen/heard... Got my eyes on a red/yellow Buell xb9r or 12r and they are both loud as hell. I just need to be seen now...
Ride like a massive cock, if your going past people all the time you cant stay in their blind spots :v:
You can only do so much. In reality eventually someone isn't going to see you.

If you like huge torque, but not so much top speed, get the buell. I'm not saying it's slow, but my friend has a 08 gsxr600 and I beat him on the line, but once I get to 80, he's gone.
Aw man, i really want to leave québec for several reasons, license plate cost about 650$ EVERY years and the price keep going up, and 1400$ for a sports bike. I was thinking to buy an 2003 klr 650 for 1800$, to go anywhere. :smith: Fuck you SAAQ, you are fraud.
Does no one here have a Harley? :v:
I don't think the average 16 to 20 year old person that plays computer games is the kinda guy to ride a Harley
If I had to get a bike I'd get one. I'm pretty goddamn Murrican.
Just turned 17 and my dad got me one of these for my birthday: Superbyke RMR-125. I have it restricted right now and it does 65 tops unfortunately, so I am going to buy a new exhaust system de-restricted ofc and then get some larger sprockets for it and then I can get 75 out of it! :v: My 50cc was a piece of shit, it went 50 mph and I would be lucky to go 30 miles without it breaking down. This one had 1100 miles on it when I got it on the 5th June but now it has 1800 miles... I do love my bikes.
I don't think the average 16 to 20 year old person that plays computer games is the kinda guy to ride a Harley
I had a old roadster before I got my Buell. Not as much fun as the Buell, but still a great bike to ride. But, I know most kids do just want a rice rocket and go 150+mph.

i prefer sports bikes
